Came here for dinner on a Monday and ordered the duck and octopus salad. I took the salad because it was so highly recommended by others. I was skeptical at first, but the salad turned out to be lovely.

I stumbled upon Le Cénac and decided to take a chance, as my husband and I will be in Nice for two months and are on the lookout for favorite spots to share with visiting friends. The staff were welcoming, though I did feel they weren’t quite as warm toward me — perhaps because it was clear right away that I’m American.

The food arrived beautifully plated. I ordered the seafood and rice platter, which was generous in portion but unfortunately lacked freshness and flavor, especially in the seafood. The wine was average, though the overall atmosphere was quite pleasant.

While I probably won’t return, I still appreciated the experience and the chance to try somewhere new.

A hidden gem! Just off the main tramline street, absolutely delicious menu, great service cannot fault! Worth the visit over the touristy traps of the main area!!!

J'arrive à 11h15 tous les serveurs sont en pause , j attend un peu puis me lève pour demander à etre servi... bien sûr... toute l'équipe prend bien le temps de finir sa cigarette et boire son café...
Je trouve ça parfaitement irrespectueux.
Un serveur devrait être disponible pour faire le JOB !

Gave me food poisoning. Initially I had a lovely experience whilst there, food was good. Paid €25 for a burger. An hour later I had contracted food poisoning so bad that I had to spend the night in the hospital hooked up to an IV. I can pinpoint it to that meal as it was my first meal of the day. Whilst getting medication at the pharmacy, I met someone else getting the same stuff having also eaten there earlier that day. Be cautious when eating at this restaurant.

Nice est la ville de la bonne humeur surtout lorsqu'on déjeune au Cénac . Grande terrasse ombragée, carte goûteuse et puis nous avons été servis avec un vrai sourire amical.

Restaurant qui se situe dans une enfilade d’autres restaurants. Accueil amical en terrasse extérieure. La carte sur ardoise est assez riche. Beaucoup de plats du jour. Les plats sont bons avec un service de table affable. L’addition est correct sans plus.

Came on two different occasions, and had rigatoni gratinee with morel and veal. That was delicious and heartwarming with the rainy weather.
Next occasion, took the coquilettes gratinees because I do love pasta gratinee. Delicious, with a slice of truffle and ham. Worth it.

A éviter. Salade "chèvre" chaud consiste d'une petite montagne de salade, 2 tranches de jambon cru, une demi barquette des champignons cru et quelques pièces de pain avec de la fromage. On a commandé un apéritif, 5 minutes après on avait déjà le salade. Il y a des meilleurs endroits pour beaucoup moins chère.

Such a wonderful experience!
The staff was so nice and friendly!
The food was amazing, I had the duck breast and was great. The portions were good and the price was reasonable. Also, the restaurant is very pretty. Can’t wait to come back.

J'ai pas trouvé ce lieu exceptionnel après en avoir tant entendu à ce sujet puis c'est hors de prix et bruyant entre le monde qui passe devant en deux roues les passants et les gens assis sur la terrasse sincèrement très déçu. Mais ça n'engage que mon avis
