Like others, our family of 4 had a mixed experience. The food was simple, but well prepared for what it was, sparsely portioned, and did not come out at the same time. The servers tolerated us, but were not particularly hospitable. We were never offered additional water or bread, nor was our water poured for us the way it was for some other guests. We spent about 200 euro and visited a crepe stand afterwards to fill up our kids. The Michelin sign on the front wall did not reflect the experience we had, unfortunately.

Très bon, plats assez petits et assez cher, mais très très bonne qualité, prévoir de prendre plusieurs choses à partager à plusieurs, mais les serveurs vous en informe ! Service parfait je recommande

Un restaurant authentique, plein de charme, et surtout d’une grande qualité gastronomique.
Des plats traditionnels subtilement revisités avec une touche de modernité.
Nous nous sommes volontiers prêtés au jeu des assiettes à partager, au point d’avoir eu du mal à nous arrêter... et ainsi découvrir près des trois quarts de la carte.
Des produits locaux parfaitement maîtrisés, et de l’émotion à chaque bouchée.
Félicitations au chef, à toute son équipe, ainsi qu’à Thibau, notre serveur aux petits soins.
Nous avons passé un moment délicieux, et ne manquerons pas de revenir lors de notre prochain passage à Nice.

Il clafouti è la cosa migliore e in generale i dolci. Cucina curata, tradizione più un po' di innovazione. Spazio poco. Porzioni piccole in generale, eccezion fatta per i dolci. Prezzo un po' sopra... Servizio serio, che sa rimediare agli errori. Digestione ottima.

I chose Chez Davia for a special dinner while visiting Nice, based on its Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. While the food was solid, the service left us genuinely disappointed.

Early in the meal, our server asked where we were from. After learning we were American, he made an unexpected political remark — which felt inappropriate and unprofessional in a hospitality setting. From that moment on, he noticeably disengaged, and other staff ended up handling our table. It left the evening feeling cold and unwelcoming.

There were other issues as well: a €50 bottle of red wine was served overly warm with no acknowledgment, and the dessert we’d looked forward to (crème brûlée) was unavailable. Instead, the only option was a lemon tart that had been sitting out in the open on a warm evening — not ideal for a restaurant at this price point.

For a €200 meal for two, I expected a more gracious and attentive experience. Unfortunately, the hospitality didn’t match the promise of the kitchen — or the price.

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant, the menu looked very good and the place was lovely. We had made our order for appetizers and our mains. We hadn’t finished our appetizers yet before one of our mains was dropped on our table. We were still eating our appetizers, there was no place on the table for a third plate. The waitress just said that this plate was ready and left. She was rather rude. We were upset as the second main only came 10 min later, while the first one was getting cold. We weren’t sharing them and didn’t want to eat while the other was watching. We expressed our concerns to our waiter who apologized. We were having a lovely meal, it was just upsetting to have this happen that ruined the experience

Zó lekker gegeten! Pure smaken, geen overbodige fratsen – precies waar we zin in hadden. De menukaart is overzichtelijk en de gerechten spreken voor zich: geen zware sauzen of onnodige opsmuk, gewoon goed eten. We hadden graag nog een fles wijn en een dessert genomen, maar na vier dagen festival waren we daar nét iets te brak voor ????. Toch volop genoten!

We love your restaurant and have been many times but this night was poor- we were in a corner table between 2 groups who were talking with each other over us . One of those tables came in after us but had their table cleared before us and were given desert menus. We were sat with fish bones waiting even though we finished eating before them. No one checked if we were ok or wanted anything and no one came to clear the table to ask if we wanted a desert so after seeing them be looked after ahead of us and basically being ignored, we decided to leave. Such a shame to have had this experience because, as I say, we have eaten at this restaurant many times with good experiences.

The food at Davia was exceptionally good. However, the service felt very limited. We booked a table a week ago and when we arrived at the restaurant, the waiter gave us a table at the back, next to the kitchen. When we politely asked to be moved, he said that he could not as we had only called in the day before. I told him that I made an online reservation the previous week. He said he would try but there was no such apparent effort. The rest of the service was similar. No one came to ask about glass of wine or how our meal was. The dishes came out in the wrong sequence. Our pasta followed our beef. It’s really too bad as the food is truly exceptional but the service is meh. You don’t just go to a restaurant for the food but also for the ambience and service.

Das Essen war grundsätzlich gut, jedoch recht wenig. Was für mich gar nicht ging war, dass mein Mann sein Essen etwa 15min vor meinem erhielt und dementsprechend dann, dadurch das er es warm essen wollte, bereits fertig war als ich mein Essen bekam (wir waren nicht die einzigen mit dem Erlebnis, jedoch war der Unterschied bei uns besonders groß). Wer gemeinsam essen will in dem Restaurant sollte die gleiche Speise bestellen, da diese immer gemeinsam zubereitet und raus gebracht wurden.
Das Servicepersonal war freundlich, jedoch deutlich überfordert. Sie rannten zwischen den Tischen hin und her, dadurch kam darüber hinaus eine stressige Atmosphäre zustande, gerade bei der Enge im Innenraum.
Klimatisiert war es kaum, was bei 30 Grad+ unglücklich war. Eiswürfel für die Getränke fehlten ebenso.
