Une belle surprise dans le vieux Nice, une belle terrasse plutôt calme pour ce coin là. L’assiette niçoise a partager est simple est bonne, les tarifs des plats bien plus attractifs que d’autres avec une qualité au rendez vous

wir haben 4 Personen dort gegessen, es liefen 2 Kellnerin rum! eine war (unfreundlich/unprofessionell) die andere (genau das Gegenteil - sehr professionell - freundlich) - ich habe lachs bestellt, habe beim Eintreffen nach gefühlter 1stunde den Lachs auf dem Teller suchen müssen! Es war eher Reis mit Lachs und nicht Lachs mit Reis.

At first we sat here because of the place and the food seemed good. We ordered two salads and two pizzas. The salads were awful, especially the Caesar salad. It was overly salty and the sauce was awful. Even though the food was not of high quality, the prices were extremely high. Would not recommend.

Horrible service. Food took forever to come out and it was wrong. The owners dog was begging at tables.
Extremely bland pasta sauce and overcooked fish. What a waste of a meal with so many better options around.

I was presented with what could generously be described as a “salad,” though its wilted, questionably brown leaves suggested more of a failed science experiment. The tartare? Let’s just say it had all the elegance of a rushed tuna mix from a corner deli. And the fries — soft, sad, and utterly lacking the crunch that even a half-decent kitchen should be ashamed to miss. To top it all off, the service was a masterclass in indifference — slow, inattentive, and served with the kind of energy you’d expect from someone being forced to work off a community service sentence.

Restaurant halt.

Un restaurant authentique niçois bien situé dans le cœur de la vieille ville. Une cuisine excellente et une mention particulière aux serveurs saisonniers qui illuminent le service

Arrivés à 19h20, on a eu l’impression de déranger la patronne et ses employés.
La serveuse a renversé un cocktail sur notre bébé. Ça peut arriver elle débute.
On a tout payé, même le cocktail. Inadmissible
On est des habitués mais par principe on ne reviendra plus ..
La cuisine est simple et peu raffinée mais on aimait bien cette place. On ira chez leurs voisins désormais

That was the worst Italian food. Soggy noodles l, soggy gnocchi, the sauce tasted like spaghetti-o’s, and I hope I don’t get food poisoning from the mussels. And the waiter was rude and lazy. Hopefully the place closes so a real restaurant can open in the great location.

De l’accueil à l’assiette nous avons été ravis ????
Il semble que la direction ait changé il y a peu, nous sommes des habitués de l’établissement.
Nous avons été reçus avec un grand sourire et avec beaucoup de gentillesse, le service fut rapide et professionnel malgré le monde en terrasse.
Très bon rapport qualité-prix.
Nous avons passé un très bon moment au Romarin et nous reviendrons ????

???????? The menu selection is extremely limited. I wanted to order only a juice but was flatly refused, even though my friends ordered full and varied dishes. When I suggested ordering at least a dessert with my drink, I was again told it was not allowed.

Notably, there were absolutely no other customers in the restaurant during lunchtime, which should have been an early sign of the restaurant’s poor reputation and quality.

I understand that a restaurant might refuse a customer who comes alone and wants only a drink, but denying such a simple request when our group had already ordered several dishes each seems unjustified and unprofessional.

I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant: the cocktails are tasteless, the juice is just ordinary bottled juice, and I refused to try the food due to the unpleasant experience.
The service is appalling: the staff were talking loudly in the dining room, singing, and even mocking me when I asked if they had anything suitable for breakfast.
As a tourist, I may not know local dining customs, but mocking me for that is inexcusably rude.

???????? Le choix du menu est extrêmement restreint. Souhaitant commander uniquement un jus, j’ai été confrontée à un refus catégorique, alors même que mes amis avaient commandé des plats complets et variés. Lorsque j’ai proposé de prendre au moins un dessert avec ma boisson, on m’a également répondu par la négative.

Fait révélateur : il n’y avait absolument aucun autre client dans le restaurant à l’heure du déjeuner, ce qui en dit long sur la réputation et la qualité de l’établissement.

Je comprends qu’un établissement puisse exiger une consommation minimale pour un client seul, mais refuser un tel compromis alors que notre groupe avait déjà commandé plusieurs plats chacun me paraît injustifié et peu commercial.

Je déconseille vivement ce restaurant : les cocktails sont insipides, le jus est un produit industriel en bouteille, et j’ai refusé de goûter la nourriture tant l’expérience m’a déplu. Le service est déplorable : le personnel parlait bruyamment dans la salle, chantait, et s’est permis de se moquer de ma question sur la possibilité de commander un petit-déjeuner.
En tant que touriste, il est légitime de ne pas connaître les coutumes locales, et tourner cela en dérision est d’une impolitesse inacceptable.

L’esperienza negativa. Siamo stati accolti con poca cortesia, soprattutto da un cameriere che ci è sembrato poco rispettoso e poco professionale. Ha reagito con tono di scherno al fatto che non parlassimo la sua lingua, e questo ha reso il tutto più difficile.

La pizza non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative: era troppo sottile e croccante per i nostri gusti.
L’unico punto positivo è la posizione, molto comoda e centrale, ma purtroppo non basta a salvare l’esperienza.

Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur le restaurant le Romarin et quelle surprise : c’était excellent, nous avons très bien mangé et l’accueil était super ???? je recommande à 200% j’y retournerai les yeux fermés ????

Top-class local restaurant. The food is exceptionally delicious. Try the "pasta with seafood" and the "Caesar salad". If you are a wine lover, I would definitely recommend the "Pichet," which is a homemade local wine served in a pitcher. We had rosé wine, and it tasted very nice. The staff speaks very fluent English, and they also have an English menu. The location has a great atmosphere and is located near the "Cathédrale Sainte-Réparate de Nice".

A very bad impression left by the restaurant staff who have no manners. The food is prepared on the fly in several locations. I would not recommend anyone to waste their day and money in this unsanitary location!!

Upon entering the restaurant, you immediately notice the dim and uninviting lighting. A waitress, lacking warmth and education, approaches you with an assertive tone, suggesting that if you seek to use the restroom, you must order a meal.

Politely, you request to wash your hands first, and your wife and daughter proceed to find a table with a window view. To your surprise, the waitress insists that restroom use is conditional upon ordering food, even though the restaurant is nearly empty.

It seems the unwelcoming atmosphere may influence the behavior of its staff. Most likely the food has the same energy.

It is worth avoiding the place, which is at people's feet anyway.

Alors moi je me suis régalée avec la daube en joue de bœuf et les panisses. Ça c'était excellent mais le reste trop dommage. Mon mari lui a pris une pizza à la truffe sèche triste à souhait. Et à l'apero on a testé la socca déçue aussi trop épaisse. On ne reviendra pas dommage
