Oui, il faut faire un peu de queue, mais elle en vaut tellement la peine, la socca de chez Thérèsa ! Elle mérite sa renommée... croustillante, fine, légèrement crémeuse. Un délice !!

Als ich hier im Mai war, habe ich Socca und einen Zwiebelkuchen bestellt. Es hat beides gut geschmeckt. Ich war aber mit dem Essen noch nicht fertig und die Verkäuferin kam auf mich zu und teilte mir mit, dass ich an dem Tisch draußen nicht sitzen darf, weil ich kein Getränk gekauft habe. Ich musste meine Sachen packen und Platz machen, da sich ein anderer Gast mit einer Dose Limonade (?) hinsetzen wollte. So was habe ich noch nie erlebt. Am Fenster habe ich dann tatsächlich eine Information gelesen, dass man sich hinsetzen darf, wenn man zusätzlich noch ein Getränk kauft... Wenn man also zweimal Socca und einen Zwiebelkuchen bestellt, darf man sich nicht hinsetzen? Ich verstehe die Logik nicht...

Tried our first socca and it was nice. The pissaladière is like a thick dough pizza, served cool. It was ok.

Socca gerçekten lezzetli. Tek denediğim yer olduğu için karşılaştırma yapamıyorum fakat tercih edilecek bir yer olduğunu düşünüyorum. Ispanaklı soğanlı omleti de lezzetliydi. Cuma günü 9.30da açmışlardı saat 10.30a kadar socca hazır olmayabilir dediler. Cours Saleya daki stanttan almamı önerdiler. Öncelik verip taze şekilde oradaki tezgaha götürdüklerini söylediler. Tanesi 3€.

I tried the Socca and Trouchia at Chez Thérésa and loved both. I actually just ran into this stand when I walked around the old town, so it was a surprise for my trip today.
The socca was freshly made. warm, crispy on the edges and very soft inside – simple yet so satisfying, especially with a dash of black pepper. It’s my first time having it and I was amazed! The portion is large. €3
The trouchia (Swiss chard omelet) was flavorful, moist, and full of herbs – very traditional and comforting. I hope I can get a freshly made one though, but serving as cold also good. €3.5

scamming asians tourists alert!!!!
i went to the market and bought one socca
1 socca is €3, and I paid €10
the staff just exchanged me 2 €2 coins.
I voiced out and she said she could’t see it was a €10 banknote
so how much should I pay if I was just returned €4? this is ridiculous and really shame on u:)
Asians should be awared of this!

Nous avons dégusté de la Socca, de la pissaladière, la tarte à la ratatouille servies avec une sourire immense sur le marché de Nice! Une très belle découverte culinaire typique ! Le lendemain nous sommes revenus pour découvrir le pain bagnat et la tourte sucrée aux blettes conseillée par Theresa toujours sympathique et souriante ! Nous recommandons vivement ! Local com alguma fila, mas anda relativamente rápido.
Provámos a socca, pissaladière e tourtes de blettes.
Atmosfera mais rústica mas agradável para um almoço mais descontraído.

Highlight of my walk inside of Old Nice, I love socca, such delightful and cheap snack. During day, you will expect to wait in line, a lot of people.

Tasty socca. 10 euro for 2 soccas and 2 soft drinks. They accept card, above 5 euro. It was worth the 20 min queue!

La Socca was amazing. So flavourful and simple but delicious!!!!! The line was long and it didn’t move very fast which I understand was due to them cooking the socca fresh but it was well worth the wait! We took it away because you had to pay for a drink if you wanted to sit in and there wasn’t a whole lot going on inside but it’s not to far from the beach and it’s so worth it!

Reasonably priced Nicoise street food. The Socca is the star of the show here, with its mix of crispy, soft, and salty bits. There was a bit of a queue, but it goes quickly, and there's shade to keep you sheltered from the sun. There's also a dine-in area a few steps from the shop, but make sure to buy a drink. I walked past their market location but would recommend coming here instead as the Socca is freshly baked on-site.

Authentic, crispy and flavourful socca. We also got the tourte de blettes (swiss chard pie with rice) which was decent, but the star of the show was the socca. Top tip: go to the one that is not in the market - that hole in the wall branch is where the socca is made so it is more fresh and you can wait in the shade. You can also sit inside if you buy a drink. At the market in cours saleya, you have to wait in the sun for the socca to be delivered via bicycle if it runs out.

Une queue de 45 minutes pour une socca molle et une pissaladière froide avec une pâte épaisse. Le personnel est trop peu nombreux, du coup c’est raté. Desolé

Excellente pissaladière et bonne "socca", mais ça n'était pas la véritable recette de la Socca Niçoise ;)
Dans la recette originale, il y a juste de l'eau, de l'huile d'olive, de la farine de pois chiche, du sel & du poivre.
Pas d’œufs ni de lait, désolée :)
Mais cette variante était tout de même bonne !
