Cons:
-Breakfast not included – an additional expense that adds up quickly.
-Pool unusable – the water is green and looks unclean.
-Lack of basic toiletries – conditioner, body lotion, and other essentials aren’t provided. The shampoo comes in a glass bottle, which seems dangerous in a slippery shower.
-Safe not provided in a timely manner – had to wait over 24 hours to receive one.
-Poor air conditioning coverage – AC is only available in the rooms. Common areas have open windows and doors, leading to a buildup of biting bugs.
-Low-quality amenities – pillows and towels are of poor quality, making for an uncomfortable stay.
-Leaky shower – added to the inconvenience of an already disappointing bathroom setup.
Pros:
-Friendly staff – some of the employees are warm, helpful, and offer great restaurant recommendations.
-Beautiful surroundings – the property itself is quite pretty.
While the owner is polite and seems committed to running a green, eco-friendly hotel, it feels more like a cost-cutting approach than a genuinely sustainable effort. Having stayed at other green hotels, this one falls short on comfort and service.
