Very disappointing experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the attitude of the staff was unacceptable, especially at the reception and restaurant. Joana at the front desk stood out in the worst way — no smile, no welcome, and a general feeling that guests are a bother, not a priority.
We arrived with a pram and a baby, and both lifts were out of order. Instead of offering help or even a simple apology, the response was: “You can take the stairs.” No empathy or assistance.
At the restaurant, no one knew how to operate the microwave, and again, no one seemed remotely interested in helping.
The worst part was when I briefly asked to keep an eye on my son for a few seconds at the reception while I was placing some milk in the baggage row, just a few steps away. There was no customers at the time that should be looked after and several staff free. Nothing was said at the time — but later, when I referred the staff situation to the manager (the blond lady) her response was defensive, rude, and inappropriate. Rather than showing empathy or acknowledging the lack of support, she blamed me for having dared ask her staff to “help” even for a few seconds. This kind of reaction is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of basic customer care.
I left feeling extremely uncomfortable. There was zero sense of service, no kindness, and no effort to make guests feel welcome. Definitely not what you expect from a hospitality team, and certainly not a “wow” experience.

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful hotel . The reception team and lobby gave a good first impression but then our room exceeded expectations . We had a room on the top floor with a garden view and the sea in the distance . It was so restful and calming in the room due to the simple style of decor and that windows opened . Breakfast was simple and tasty with a good enough selection . We were aware of the current work before we arrived but didn’t feel it spoiled our stay in any way . The hotel is only trying to make further improvements . We will certainly remember our stay with fondness and very much hope to return

Albergo con grande potenziale, raffinato e in ottima posizione per girare la città comodamente a piedi.
Stanze pulite e ordinate.

Stanza un po piccola. Manca il bidet, il frigobar e una cassetta di sicurezza.
Lo staff non parla italiano pur essendo a pochi minuti dal confine italiano

Hotel très belle architecture. Ar et restaurant. Tres belle salle de restauration. Chambre spacieuse avec lit xxl. Petite terrasse avec table et chaises. Très bon buffet de petit déjeuner. Copieux. Parking prive 9€ journee , tres pratique. Je recommande.
Ma chambre (une personne) est un peu petite mais elle est confortable.
