The location is in a national park and the views are lovely. The restaurant is homely with several cats roaming around.
Impressively Richard was by himself! He worked solo. He cooked 2 steaks, 1 fish, 2 duck breasts, a croque monsieur and a chicken dish. All to time. All on point. We were extremely impressed and when he told us he worked for Gordon Ramsay in the past it all began to make sense.
I wouldn't say the food exceptional, but it's incredibly homely and delicious. Exactly what you want for a day out with the family (when you plan to nap later in the day!).
Desserts were tasty, especially the crepes, and Richard was super with the kids, making exceptions for them offering some sweets with a smile.
Ultimately it's a lovely, homely place, with very tasty food and an excellent owner/chef/server. I'm sure in high season there are more staff but now, in December, we feel indebted to Richard for opening the doors and giving us a great lunch! Recommended!
Pour ma part, le magret de canard m'a régalé, les frites que j'ai demandées étaient faites maison, vraiment je recommande vivement cette pépite.
Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir et joie pour essayer un week-end de 4 jours, randonnée, bons plats, visite du coin.

Charmant petit village et une auberge ouverte.
Nous avons été accueillis super chaleureusement par les propriétaires soucieux du bien-être de leurs clients car ils sont extrêmement gentils et méritants. Ils nous ont ouvert leur terrasse ombragée par une vigne et avons pu profiter de ce repas au soleil. Du coup, cela attiré d’autres personnes mais c’est pas grave, ils continuent de servir volontiers même s’il est passé presque 15h !
Les assiettes sont copieuses, tout est fait maison et pour un prix plus que raisonnable !
