It doesn’t worth the money and doesn’t deserve the Marriott branding. Outdated small rooms, arrogant xenophobic service, which goes on the management allowing it and not training the French staff, none of Marriott known amenities nor benefits. Walls are cartoonish, you can hear and understand the neighbors talking from side or above rooms. Cleaning is rubbish

I stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Monaco for several nights and, unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet the expectations that come with the brand or the price point. While the location is good and the pool area pleasant, a number of issues left me disappointed.

The room felt outdated and lacked attention to detail—the hair conditioner was empty upon arrival, and the room wasn’t cleaned at all on the first day. The AC was quite loud and difficult to control, and the TV kept defaulting to Chromecast, which became frustrating.

Breakfast was very basic and repetitive, with limited variety. Although I appreciated the inclusion of gluten-free bread and muesli, by the fourth day, the options—mostly eggs, pastries, and cereals—became quite unappetizing.

Service was polite and the staff at the Bolinas restaurant were friendly, though at times a bit slow. The food there was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. One thing that stood out as unusual was the €75 per day deposit, especially considering the outdated decor and average overall experience.

Overall, the stay was fine, but not at the level I would expect from a Marriott in Monaco. There’s definitely room for improvement, and I wouldn’t rush to return.

Do not book @ this hotel ever!
This hotel is not a 4 star or a 3 star! 2 star @ best!
We stayed here on the recommendation of Expedia from Canada
The hotel is seriously lacking in outdated in time
Is smells of mildew and smoke the rooms are horrible beds are old and worn out springs popping out
The entry smells of room deodorizer or fake scents to mask the issues
The carpets are filthy dirty
Upon checking there were no concierge to greet us for our luggage we were booked and paid for 4 nights at this hotel
That by the way is not in Monaco!
The first room was on the 1st floor that was horrendous and stunk so bad of cigarettes and mildew
They took us to a second room was no better and then a third worse yet
We went out into Monaco found a new hotel and went back to this Dump picked up our bags and left
We contacted Expedia to cancel but Expedia was zero help to say the least paid over 3k !No Refund!
Never again will I stay @ a marriot hotel nor will I ever use Expedia services for Anything!
The worst hotel we have ever now not stayed at!

This hotel is a gem on the French Riviera right on the border to Monaco. Everyone at the hotel are very friendly and nice.

I don’t ever leave bad reviews let alone leave reviews for anything in general. But I haven’t had my morning coffee and I had to get up at 7:30. Since I am not an eloquent morning person I am frustrated, bugged, and disappointed in the moment writing this. Let’s get to the story of why I am taking precious time out of my day to leave this note. It all started when I had to take a bus back to the Marriott from wherever I was in Monaco (another sensitive topic of the fact that Uber here is as rare as seeing a northern white rhino in the wild ) anyways I arrived back to the hotel at around 22:30. I expressed that my friend and I had a flight that departed at 10:50 the following morning. After much discussion with the front desk employees we all come to the conclusion that we should leave around 8:00. They called us a taxi in that moment and I even got the pleasure of meeting the taxi driver myself. Who smiled and guaranteed he will pick us up at 8:00 for our flight. I’m sure you can guess what happened next…… my friend and I went downstairs at 8:00 sharp. The front desk told us he (the driver)will be 5-10 late. No problem. However I got a bit agitated when 30 minutes passed bye. Iong story short we called an Uber on our OWN DIME. the front desk didn’t apologize nor offer an alternative option. This experience made me miss the USA. By the way, very cheap with their water.
