To “compensate,” they offered us one free dessert — worth a fraction of the inedible main — and then still charged us for the gambas. When we challenged the bill, they claimed everything was correct because we had “agreed” to the free dessert, as if that somehow justified paying for a dish we couldn’t eat on two occasions. When we asked if this was a joke, the look on the waiter’s face said it all.
This place is a textbook example of a tourist trap: overpriced, mediocre food, and service that puts a stain on the reputation of French hospitality. Avoid.
