We were supposed to go this summer as well, made the reservation months ago. The evening before we received an email asking us to confirm the shuttle boat, which we did, and then another email - AROUND 7PM - saying they had to cancel our reservation due to an unexpected late semi-private party reservation. No further explanation, no one could even bother to call us, honestly it was lucky we even saw the email at all before making our way all the way into Cannes the next day. Don’t get me wrong; We were fine, we’re in the south of France and there’s plenty of nice places, but this is the prefect display of how the restaurant has changed, lost the respect for their guests, and they simply couldn’t care less. Such a shame.
