Avec le plaisir d’avoir dîné au Vilebrequin La Plage où on a été accueilli chaleureusement par Vanessa du début jusqu’à la fin du service, elle a pris soin de nous avec un sourire inoubliable. Le service est excellent et fluide ainsi que la qualité de la nourriture qui était à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous espérons de revenir rapidement afin de profiter pleinement de l’expérience clientèles .

Outstanding!!! From the starters to the desserts it was a wonderful experience. We tried various cocktails and they were at the same level as the food. Great vibe and atmosphere added to the balance of our wonderful experience and it’s a perfect moment at vilebrequin la plage. Definitely coming back.

I’ve been a few times and every time the service was excellent! Vanessa was very nice and fast and attentive. The food is amazing and the prices for me is not unreasonable! Definitely recommend :)

Un vrai coin de paradis ????

Le cadre est tout simplement superbe :
une plage magnifique, ambiance chic et détendue.
Le service est impeccable, Vanessa est toujours aux petits soins, attentionnée et toujours souriante !!!!
Et que dire des cocktails et de la nourriture ? Un vrai régal, autant pour les yeux que pour les papilles !
Un endroit où l'on revient avec plaisir… et qu'on recommande les yeux fermés ! ????????☀️

Note honorable pour le vilebrequin on the beach un cocktail incroyable.

I had a truly horrible experience at this restaurant during the fireworks dinner. My friend and I were initially seated, but after briefly stepping away to use the restroom — leaving my bag on the table — we returned to find that our table had been given away without our consent. A waiter handed me my bag and informed us we had been moved to a completely different spot — an awful corner location with no explanation or apology.

This was incredibly disrespectful. When we voiced our frustration, they offered to “find a solution,” but their tone and attitude remained rude and dismissive throughout. Eventually, both a man and a woman who seemed to be in charge confronted us loudly, saying we either accept the new table or cancel the reservation and leave

My friend and I were shocked by the lack of basic customer service and professionalism. We’ve never encountered such rude behavior before, and it completely ruined our evening. Needless to say, we will never return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting to be treated with decency.

Why are you still keeping so many lobsters in tiny tanks in 2025?
This is incredibly outdated and unnecessarily cruel. A beachfront restaurant in Cannes should set higher ethical standards. There are more humane practices available today, please reconsider how you treat living creatures.

If you ever wondered how the French people earned the reputation of being rude and inhospitable, eat at the Villebrequin and you will experience these traits first hand. We were a party of 11 on Friday July 25 and we had the most despicable, arrogant and insolent person as a server. His responses and comments to anything we asked were insulting and provocative. He particularly seemed to have a grudge against America and Americans. For example, when we asked for a lot of ice to accompany our drinks and mentioned to him "please fill the glass with ice as they do in America" he replied with a pale smile "You are in France monsieur". His attitude was negative all the way and he provided the worst possible service. He made sure we had an unpleasant lunch and that we felt we should never come back again. At one point, a young lady in our party asked him if he could take a picture of all of us with her phone, and he rudely answered "I don't do this". One of the runners heard her request and volunteered to do it. In fairness, all the runners and bussers were ok. However, the meals were delayed for some of us. Same for the desserts. As for the food taste, it was average at best. The sole meniere had a very bitter aftertaste and the escalopes Milanaises were soaked in oil. Luckily, our dog was with us and enjoyed eating them.

P.S. the large tip that was left was meant for the runners and bussers who worked our table, not for the rude server. Also, the runner who took a picture of us received a separate tip of €10 in cash from me just for taking the picture. We are considerate people and we have empathy with those young men and women working hard under the sun.

Soirée incroyable à la plage Ondine avec Vilebrequin ! La vue sur le feu d’artifice était à couper le souffle. Les transats sont très confortables, la cuisine délicieuse, avec une cuisson parfaite et des plats originaux. Le personnel est vraiment agréable et accueillant. Merci à toute l’équipe d’avoir rendu notre soirée aussi belle !

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation and without a reservation. I was seated immediately. The service was excellent, very professional and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I have no complaints – this is definitely a place I’d love to come back to.

Je suis venue manger avec une amie et nous avons passé un super moment.
Mention spéciale au service, le personnel est adorable et chaleureux ce qui n’est pas du tout le cas sur toutes les plages de Cannes.
La cuisine est excellente.

Quelle déception !!!! Habitués des lieux depuis très longtemps et 1ere expérience ce lundi très calme avec le nouveau « concept » ; bilan très très mitigé pour ne pas dire une déception totale. Rien ou paps grand chose ne va : plus aucune âme, service sympathique mais pas à la hauteur des tarifs appliqués, cuisine toujours à la hauteur quand même mais qui souffre de la comparaison avec d’autres plages voisines, et surtout une ambiance froide voir polaire (personne ne dit au revoir, directrice qui passe 30 mn au téléphone devant les tables sur la plage, directrice qui visiblement ne s’intéresse qu’à ses connaissances et amis (contrairement aux précédents « gérants » qui étaient omniprésents et brillaient par leur gentillesse dévouement et professionnalisme). Pour résumer : une énième fois à l’ondine et une dernière, quelle différence avec la plage ou nous étions la veille (dimanche) ou malgré une affluence colossale l’accueil le service la cuisine ontété exceptionnels
