Amazing hotel in a great quiet location, amazing staff, amazing pool and garden, amazing breakfast and service, amazing cats. 5/5

This is the most beautiful & peaceful hotel in the south of France. The management are exceptional, the service, friendliness, environment and facilities are wonderful. The property is always immaculate. The gardens are tranquil; the nature and the birds are also very relaxing. The renovations around the pool this season are sublime. I have been a returning guest for 10 years now. We can't wait to come back again thank you so much for having us again xx

Anche quest'anno il nostro soggiorno all'hôtel Mas Djoliba è stato super! |Lo staff è gentilissimo, l'hôtel è curato, accogliente e davvero bellissimo! Sono molti anni che scegliamo questo hôtel per passare una settimana di relax, coccolati e in un ambiente cordiale. Ottima la location, ottima la colazione in veranda, perfetta la piscina immersa nella tranquillità e nel verde. L'hôtel, inoltre, non dista dal centro storico di Antibes. Consigliatissimo!!!

Deuxième séjour parfait au Mas Djoliba pour notre famille !

Le cadre est idyllique. Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil chaleureux et attentionné nous a fait sentir comme chez nous. Chaque détail est soigné, le jardin fleuri et la piscine parfaitement entretenue.

La chambre est d’un confort remarquable : literie de qualité, propreté irréprochable. Le petit-déjeuner, servi en terrasse, est un vrai moment de bonheur.

Mention spéciale pour la gentillesse de Delphine et Laura, toujours souriantes et de bon conseil.

Un lieu authentique, calme et plein de charme, que nous recommandons les yeux fermés. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Un oasis de calme
Je reviens d’un séjour de 5 nuits au Mas où j’ai passé de merveilleuses vacances.
L’hôtel et les chambres sont impeccables, et Delphine et Laura sont aux petits soins toujours prêtes à vous aider.
Le petit déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse, je le recommande vivement.
Merci à toute l’équipe qui a participé à rendre mon séjour inoubliable.

We recently stayed at this hotel for a family holiday with our 2-year-old. Overall, the property itself is beautiful, clean and peaceful, with around 13 rooms and a quiet atmosphere. However, I feel it’s important to share our experience so other families are aware.

During our stay, my child was playing making noises and laughing in the pool—as any toddler naturally does. Unfortunately, a couple and another guest became upset about the noise and complained. This particular man even shouted “SHHH!!” directly at my child while he was playing in the pool, which I found extremely rude and inappropriate behaviour from a fully grown adult towards a small child. Another lady threw her book on the floor and stormed off, very mature of her. Now I look back at what they had done I’m starting to wonder who really was acting like the 2 year old?

Shortly after, management came out to ask us to try and keep my sons noise down. While I understand some guests prefer a calm environment, I feel the situation was handled poorly. The conversation was held in front of other guests, which was uncomfortable and embarrassing for us. Other guests who were next to us later told us they disagreed with how it was approached and they enjoyed listening and watching him play and couldn’t understand the problem either. The pool is for all guests whatever age so there should be no issue with noise.

We were essentially made to feel this was a problem, even though children are allowed at the hotel and it is not advertised as adults-only. After this incident, we no longer felt welcome using the pool with him and chose to spend the rest of our time elsewhere.

If the hotel prefers a strictly quiet atmosphere for their guests, perhaps it would be more appropriate to designate it as adults-only, or at least make it clearer that families with young children might not feel fully comfortable here.

I would recommend this hotel for couples but I would not recommend this hotel for families traveling with toddlers or young kids. If you are looking for a place where your child can enjoy themselves without being told to try make your child more quiet by other guests or management, this may not be the best choice.

Mas Djoliba Hotel is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. We stayed in their smallest double room, which was the perfect size for us. Delphine and the other staff were so welcoming, kind and friendly. The hotel itself, the grounds and the pool were beautiful, we didn't want to leave. We would also highly recommend the breakfast! The location is fantastic, and we adored the resident cats. We will 100% be returning! Merci beaucoup, Delphine & team!

Wonderful few days spent at this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived Delphine and the rest of the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They suggested walks for us to take and managed to sort out a restaurant reservation I had been struggling to book. The work everyone one does there to make the hotel, grounds and swimming pool so clean is amazing. If you are coming to stay in Antibes you should come here!

Beautiful Hotel, with great service. Breakfast was wonderful. With our e-bikes we were close to everything.

We stayed here in early June 2025 and it was so special. So incredibly clean and well looked after. A short walk to Antibes to all the restaurants and back. I love a king bed and our room had one. Yummy healthy breakfast with fruits, yoghurt, eggs you can boil, breads, pancakes, etc and daily room cleaning, excellent wifi, sparkling pool. A true gem in the south of France.

Tout était parfait : accueil , disponibilité , réactivité ; l'hôtel est charmant , jardin magnifique , piscine très agréable , calme et à 5 minutes à pieds de la plage ; excellent rapport qualité /prix je recommande vivement .

Beautiful large traditional French Villa, converted into a hotel but retaining all the charm of a country house, and tastefully & comfortably furnished in the common areas. Breakfast is a simple French Buffet but filling, and far better than finding a local cafe at twice the price. The grounds are well kept, extremely tidy, and very quiet. Security arrangements are good and entering/exiting out-of-hours is simple. Perched on the side of a hill, the Villa is an easy 10 minute walk down to the old-town with a multitude of extremely good bars and restaurants in Antibes. Our room had its own private terrace overlooking the pool and villa gardens, which was sunny and with a good umbrella for shade. Taxi's had no problem finding the hotel and were efficient with pick-up/drop-off. Staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and friendly - and spoke fluent English.

There’s a reason this is the best hotel in Antibes, as noted by both Trip Advisor and Rick Steves; it simply is wonderful in all regards. Check-in was pleasant and efficient, our garden suite was sparkly clean, and the grounds are beautiful. Not to mention that the resident cats (Gordon is the semi-friendly one), bunny, and turtle were big hits with kids and adults alike. If you want pretense or valet service, you won’t find it, which suited us perfectly. What you will find is that Delphine, Laura and the rest of the staff are conscientious and considerate of all your needs. Thanks, we will be back!

Chambre magnifique, personnel très agréable et à l'écoute, toujours disponible. Les draps sentent bons, tout est nickel.
L'hôtel est très bien arboré, on s'y sent très bien.
Le petit déjeuner est très agréable, bien fourni.
Nous recommandons et nous y retournerons pour un séjour plus long.

Stayed in the single garden room and also booked for 2025. Lovely room, lovely staff, hotel very clean. Nice pool area and garden all kept spotless. Also nice to be able to book a breakfast of a light lunch. The staff were very helpful. When I reported in the morning of the first day that the outside light was not working it was fixed that day before we came back in the evening. Wish I was able to stay more often!

Dieses Hotel ist eine Wohlfühloase: außergewöhnlich nette Gastgeberinnen, persönlicher Service, hübscher Pool mit Garten und Terasse. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, gute Lage in einem schönen, ruhigen Wohnviertel, 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand und in den Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Beautiful place in a great location and close to all that Antibes has to offer, but sadly spoiled by the hotelier phoning me up after I had left seeming to claim I’d taken the battery cover off the air conditioning controller. Bizarre way to treat guests who otherwise may have returned to the lovely hotel one day !

Me and my parents have just returned from a week's stay at the hotel and have had the most wonderful time. Delphine, Laura and team are so welcoming and really take care of their guests, we immediately felt at home. Perfect holiday - restful, great location and gorgeous hotel. We have already booked for next year!

Great quiet hotel with immaculate grounds. Very lovely staff. And a quick 5-10 minute walk to reach old town and the beaches.

Great small hotel with great hosts

This is the Best place ever. You 100% have to go here it’s absolutely beautiful. Great staff, great facilities short walk to town and to the beach. It’s super quiet and the pool is so lovely.

A TRUE HAVEN

The luxury of the South of France definitely helps, glorious weather, fabulous location, beautiful coast-line, great food and wine, etc, etc. The lasting experience though comes from all the elements together. The important details. The rooms, the hotel, the service, the cleanliness, the style, the breakfasts, the pool and tranquil gardens.

Details make all the difference.

The hotel is a real haven from the energy and excitement of Antibes. I can’t rate the team and hotel highly enough, lovely people, in a beautiful place, with a warm welcome. Thank you. We will return.
