VILLAGE FLOTTANT DE PRESSAC

What was great - the lagoon swimming area, wildlife. Nice local products in shop and pleasant staff.
What wasn't- we didn't even spend the night in our floating cabin. Sewage smell near lagoon swimming area.
We have used a lot of Sandaya sites in our van. This is new to Sandaya but not a new site itself. It's not set up for campervans. There is no area for waste disposal, electric or water refills. So if you're in a camper, it stays in the car park which isnt right beside the facilities - you'll need to carry everything a wee walk. This wasn't something that was clear online and would be helpful to be clarified.
You get a small boat out to your floating cabin. It was a lot more awkward than say a canoe, pedalo or paddleboard. We didn't stay dry.
When we reached our cabin, we realised that there is no air con. In fact there is no electricity. At 38°C outside and hotter inside, we were not offered any other options. The heat was unbearable. We stayed in a local camping car site instead in the van and then didn't stay the second night that we had paid for. On a cooler night, it might have been much better.
The toilet is a wooden seat with a sawdust bag. There is a cannister of water to wash with. It's not somewhere i would like to have an upset stomach! Fine for a pee if you are in familiar company! The toilets at reception, the only plumbed toilets available, were smelly and not as clean as I would have wished. The showers on land were okay but not great. We stayed in the cocoon hut.
The lagoon for swimming was gorgeous although the smell around it was off putting.
Our photos look great. The actual experience was very expensive and not great on a practical level. I feel the description online could ve better. There isnt somewhere for food preparation. Breakfast is brought out to you. There is a restaurant onsite but we didn't use it.
Overall a huge letdown and poorly described. We were expecting the toilet but not everything else. Unfortunately not a recommendation from us.

Excellent accueil, chaleureux et convivial.
Le cadre est depaysant, la partie lagon est bien aménagée.
Nous avons passé un très bon week-end, nous recommandons.

Très belle endroit. Les chambres flottante sont bien sauf les lits avec de gros rebord ou on se cogne sans arrêt. Toilette seiche il faut adhérer nous non ..le soir repas au resto tres bien dans une cabane barbecue ces super. Le site et propre et le personnel accueillant.
