Extremely unpleasant experience - the owner canceled the reservation due to the fact that we had a 10-month old son (for whom we had a portable bed)! The reason given - he should have been counted as an extra person (apparently, for insurance purposes?!) and we booked only for two people... By the way, there is no option on their website to add an infant. Never had such bad and unpleasant encounter before! Families with kids, please, avoid this place.
P.S. as per response below, in the Terms and Conditions the only mentioning of number of people: 'Le nombre de personnes présent dans l’appartement est celui indiqué dans la confirmation de réservation, il est interdit de bénéficier du lieux pour l’organisation d’une fête, d’une soirée ou d’un évènement sans l’autorisation écrite avec Les Appartements de Beaucé ou La Maison de la Liberté.' Which has nothing to do with having an infant. I maintain that this is not a family-friendly establishment at all and the rating is based on the experience dealing with them as it almost cost us our holidays. Imagine, if we have not requested beforehand. Again, there is no option on the website to add an infant (which is a usual case for others).

My family of four stayed at La Maison de la Liberte in October. The apartment is gorgeous and was perfect for our stay and adventures. It was very spacious, the beds were super comfortable and the location was perfect... just a few minutes walk to everything in central Poitiers. Charlotte, the host, was lovely and had a lot of maps, information and recommendations available for our visit.
We visited Futuroscope as well, and it was a short 10-15 minute drive to get there. Staying in the center of town gave us a great taste of the city. I would highly recommend La Maison de la Liberte!

Communication avec le client est de très mauvaise qualité, impossible d'obtenir des informations nécessaires, personnel pas joignable par téléphone, aucune réponse par mail non plus !

un apartamento diferente, pero cómodo y amplio, muy bien ubicado y Charlotte es muy amable y atenta a cualquier cosa; si volvemos a Poitiers seguro que repetimos
Les deux appartements où j'ai pris plaisir à séjourner sont très soignés et confortables.
Je recommande que ce soit pour le travail ou en famille
