A fabulous place for our family holiday. Superb accommodation and region. Thanks to the lovely hosts who helped make our stay memorable.

Chateau Picol is a stunning and elegant holiday destination, set in exceptionally beautiful grounds, all of which are caringly presented by Alla and Christian.
The accommodation is luxurious and spacious, perfect for our party of ten adults and six children.
The pool was beautifully warm and cleaned everyday. Our six children had a wonderful time.
The external seating areas offered a charming terrace overlooking the grounds and a shaded dining area for the entire party.
We would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful family holiday at chateau picol. The house is immaculately clean and the grounds and pool in particular are spectacular. Our children spent all day every day running and cycling around the garden and jumping in and out of the pool. Alla and Christian are wonderful hosts and quick to respond to any queries. We also took the opportunity for the catering option and the meal they cooked was delicious. The location is rural and you will definitely need a car but that just adds to the sense of peace. Highly recommend.

We had the most perfect holiday at Chateau Picol. Both the elegant house and extensive gardens with swimming pool were ideal for our family and the children had an amazing time.A big thank you to the lovely owners - Alla & Christian - who made us feel so welcome.

We have just returned from a wonderful week celebrating our golden wedding anniversary with our family, at this Chateau. The hosts were on site and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble plus they left a very nice welcome hamper with local produce. This chateau was absolutely beautiful with well kept grounds and amazing decor and furniture. The kitchen was especially well equipped and very clean. The bedrooms, all with facilities, were uniquely beautifully furnished and spacious with very comfortable beds. Despite the weather we made good use of the swimming pool, bicycles, table tennis and used the gas BBQ every day. The Chateau was ideally situated, just about 20 minutes walk from the village where there were several excellent bakeries and a farmers' market on Saturdays. There were also two large supermarkets just a short drive from the Chateau. We managed to squeeze in a visit to Futuroscope and La Vallee des Singes (not too long a drive away) which the grandchildren enjoyed and an afternoon spent in Poitiers. All in all a great way to celebrate with our family. Thank you Alla and Christian for letting us stay in your beautiful chateau and being such good hosts.
