This is a large site but due to its layout you do not realise it. This site is very well maintained and run by a friendly and helpful manager; the pitches are large, level and separated into clusters of @8. Everything is clean and well maintained, the showers and toilets are spotless with plenty of hot water available. There is also a large washing room with a couple of machines and a dryer. |The site also has a few lodges for hire and walkers’ rooms apparently complete with basic cooking facilities.|A secure pass-coded gate gives access to an adjacent public park with a distinct dog walking area and a large central lake full of frogs. The whole setting beneath the castles is stunning. The walk into town is easy with a couple of superb creperies which have to be negotiated prior to reaching the centre. There are a number of food shops and bakeries plus a street market for any provisions needed. The site itself has a daily delivery of fresh bread and croissants each morning which was much appreciated. We’d be happy to return here.

Stayed at this campsite for a few days. All round excellent service, sanitary area very clean and well maintained as was the campsite overall. Next to a lovely public garden and a short walk from the local town. There's a great Boulanger only a few minutes from the campsite. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Definitely highly recommend.
