The decor was in keeping with the historical building. Lovely beams !
We booked a double and single room. The double was at the front of the hotel and enjoyed the afternoon/evening sun. It had an ensuite bathroom which was clean and tidy. The water was hot and both bath and shower were used.
The single was to the rear however there was a double bed with an ensuite shower.
Both dinner and continental breakfast were very tasty and filling.
The owner was very knowledgeable regarding drinks and especially wine, he was asked to recommend a wine to pair with the pork dinner and suggested a Vouvray which went down very well.
I enjoyed a cider, very clean refreshing and tasty.
We all enjoyed our overnight stay and would look at returning.
