Superbe camping, très calme et très ombragé. Grand choix d'emplacements, proche des sanitaires, éloigné de la piscine il y en a pour tous les goûts.
Nous n'avons fait qu'une étape mais avons apprécié cet endroit. La piscine était agréable. Le personnel chaleureux et très gentil.
Camping adapté aux familles.

Selten einen tolleren Campingplatz gesehen. Mitten im Wald über eine abenteuerliche Strasse wird er erreicht. Der Campingplatz wird von tollen Leuten geführt. Es ist sehr gepflegt und bietet einen Pool, ein Trampolin, 9-Loch Footgolf, schattige Stellplätze, Fussballwiese und ältere aber saubere sanitäre Anlagen.
Wir danken vielmals für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Liked: Wonderful setting and a lot of well spaced out pitches. The owner was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The bar restaurant was opened for us and we had a lovely evening by the camp fire. Great dog walks through the forest.

Disliked: Not the site’s fault but we found a lot of ticks on the dogs. Just be aware if you have dogs with you.

What a fabulous campsite.
The owner is very helpful and friendly.
Sanitary facilities are clean and usable.
The best part about this site is the peace and quiet. Wake up to birdsong and that's pretty much all you hear all day. Will use again and thoroughly recommend.

Simon is a very sympathetic man, and much more, he's so helpful. He'll do everything to make your staying at this wonderfull campsite as pleasant as it can be. Very nice and most highly recommended in the middle of mothers Nature. Most recommandabele. Thx for staying here. 10 out 10 points

Liked: If you've been looking for a paradise on earth your search ends here. The camp is spread across the woods with plenty of sunshine and shades to accommodate anyone's liking, giving you a perfect opportunity to connect with nature. To make your stay more comfortable, there are clean and tidy facilities, so you can enjoy your time smelling like a rose. If you are hungry, your friendly host Simon will cook you dinner per your order and pour you a glass of wine, the colour of your choosing. When the night falls, you can look at the clear sky and learn a thing or two about stars while sharing life stories with your neighbours.

Whether you want to unwind, run away from your busy life, or spend some quality time with your family, this is a place for you.

I can't recommend Champ de la Chapelle enough and will surely be back.

Liked: Warm welcome from Simon and choice of large well spaced pitches set amongst a beautiful forest setting. The toilet and shower facilities were very clean and looked after. Simon provided us with equipment to ensure my disabled husband could have a shower independently.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Ein Campingplatz mitten im Wald, das Gelände ist sehr groß und eingezäunt, hier geht kein Kind verloren. Ein Pool der täglich gereinigt wird ist vor Ort, Fußballplatz, Fußballgolf, Feuerstelle, kleiner Imbiss zum gemütlich sitzen. Sanitäranlagen sind zwar älter aber gepflegt. Eine Waschmaschine ist auch da. Eine schöne Familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Betreiber sind Briten und sehr liebenswert. Die Gegend hat einige Schlösser zum besichtigen. Trotz das viele Familien hier sind findet man immer einen ruhigen Platz.

We stayed in 2023 and came across this gem of a campsite. Loads of space to camp and the owners are English and so welcoming. The evening fires and marshmallows were a hit as we hadn’t been able to have a fire / bbq in the 5 weeks of traveling through France. Dated facilities but always available and always clean. Couldn’t ask for more! They introduced me to the Pamplemousse wine ???? which I now have regularly.

Des hôtes Simon et Lorraine à nos petits soins.
Le calme dans la forêt et des départs de rando.
Très propres sanitaires.
Un petit snack si besoin, ainsi qu'une piscine agréable et propre.

Liked: Set in beautiful forest surroundings, a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Simon and Lorraine were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Shower and toilet facilities really nice and very clean. Pool was lovely for a cooling dip. Snack bar did simple but tasty food. Very enjoyable stay and will return one day.

Middenin het bos van Tronçais runt een superlief Brits koppel (Lorraine en Simon) deze fantastische camping. Zeer ruime, schaduwrijke plaatsen (ook voor wild kamperen).
Ideaal gelegen om dit mooi stukje centraal Frankrijk te ontdekken.

Liked: Only stayed for one night but definitely back next year for a few more. Basic campsite with lots of space for play just as camping should be! The hosts were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. As we arrived late they even kept the pool open so our kids could have a swim before dinner. Food was also very nice and campfire with marshmallows provided was a lovely touch! Thank you Simon and team we will see you in 2025!
