Ate lunch here yesterday. 3 of us. 2 French residents and my Canadian Sister-in-law. Very unassuming place from the outside but there is a lovely terrace outside at the back. We hadn't booked, but were shown to a table. My SIL chose a starter and desert, and my husband and I chose a main course and desert. My SILs starter came out first and our mains only once she had finished and I had asked where our food was. I probably should have asked for them to be served all together, but in other French restaurants I've never had to ask.
Her plate took a long time to be cleared.
Starter was a smoked salmon club sandwich... French style. Was delicious, but a large chunk of 1 piece of bread, so not a club sandwich at all.
Our main course was a duo of fish on tagliatelle vegetables and a cream and mussel sauce. The sauce was delicious, although my husband had alot more than me and I could have done with more. Sadly both pieces of fish were overcooked and dry. The basket of bread provided was not fresh and dry.
Puddings were delicious, although my SIL had too much chocolate mousse and it was overpoweringly chocolatey. Even my OH, who is addicted chocolate could only manage a spoonful.
Sadly we will not frequent this restaurant again on our next visit to the superb Abbey.

Hôtel beaucoup trop cher sans raison (si ce n’est l’absence d’alternatives). Les chambres sont sommaires. Pas de climatisation, nous étouffions dans la chambres. C’est honteux en période de canicule… De plus, quand nous sommes rentrés dans la chambre, il y avait une vingtaine de mouches car la fenêtre était grand ouverte. Il est indiqué sur le site un « kit d’hygiène » mais nous n’avions rien du tout. Il manquait des serviettes que nous avons dû demander à la réception. La seule chose qui était proposée était UNE bouteille d’eau, chaude. En période de fortes chaleurs / canicule, il pourrait au moins y avoir de l’eau fraîche en continu à la réception. Pas de café ou thé dans les chambres. Le seul point positif est la localisation. Mais vraiment, à 90€ la nuit, passez votre chemin.

Je tiens à remercier la direction et le personnel de l hôtel pour leur accueil et leur compétence.
Les chambres spacieuses et propres, un petit déjeuner copieux.
Et surtout nous avons apprécié notre diner en famille. Félicitations au chef
