The full French campsite experience!
Central location on the island although you really need a car or bike for most things - there is not much within walking distance. The campsite itself is well laid out with mostly shaded private pitches. It is very sandy though. Shower and toilet facilities are clean although it is annoying that there is no toilet paper in the toilets and no soap by the basins. Pool great, perfect for kids. Restaurant a bit limited but what they do they do very well. Entertainment VERY loud - can be heard over the whole campsite - and goes on a bit too late. However the team that run it work extremely hard! All staff were very helpful. It was a bit full-on for us but overall we had a great couple of weeks.
