The worst part: They over charged us! We told them 2 breakfasts per person (there were 3 of us) and they wrote it down but then at checkout said we did not paid for 2 breakfasts, only one. They argued back and forth with my mom saying we did not pay. We had a train to catch so my mother just went ahead and paid for 3 breakfasts. When we got home we attempted to contact them over the charges, my cousin asked for a detailed (itemized) receipt. It took 3 attempts and they finally wrote back and admitted to overcharging us! Very, very SHADY.
They other concerns were:
1. We paid for a unit with a washer and dryer. My cousin spoke with them several times making sure it had a washer and dryer and they gave us a unit without one. They changed us to a unit with a washer but there was NO dryer.
2. The unit was full of bugs and spiders. Not just one but we had many. One was giant and hairy and this was after they supposedly removed the spiders
3. The bedding smelled bad and appeared dirty
4. the mattress was ROCK HARD and was really uncomfortable
5. It felt uninviting and cold. The floors were concrete, the bathrooms/ showers were poorly planned out. It was the weirdest design I've ever seen. There was one bathroom which was in a storage closet and didn't even have a sink! let alone a shower. then there were two showers which were nice but they did not have a toilet.
6. Wifi was spotty
7. Breakfast was decent but not worth 13 euros
The only positive was the showers were nice. The staff seemed friendly until they wanted to scam us at check out.
Whatever you do do NOT go to Cote Ocean!
Le logement (un duplex): 1) odeur de canalisation dans la SDD du RDC. La fenêtre était constamment ouverte mais l’odeur restait.
2) impossible de faire sécher des serviettes ou des vêtements
3) espaces étroits et plutôt mal pensés
4) Pas de réseau téléphonique dans les logements.
5) la qualité du wifi est déplorable et ne devrait pas être mentionné comme un service offert. Même les free wifi ouvert à tous sont de meilleure qualité.
Le service:
1) le personnel a été super. Accueillant, aimable, gentil.
2) nous avons mangé un midi au restaurant de l’hôtel: les plats étaient soit trop ou pas salé. Mais vraiment à l’extrême.
3) Le petit déjeuner: ne vaut pas 13€. Rien d’exceptionnel: le pain est frai et les yaourts viennent de producteurs locaux. Pour le reste, tout vient du supermarché.
Sauf que au supermarché, le tout ne vous coûtera pas 13€ par jour et par personne.
4) En réservant sur booking, il est dit que, puisque mon enfant n’a pas 3 ans, il n’est pas soumis aux frais supplémentaires (typiquement, taxe de séjours ou petit déjeuner). A priori, dans cet hôtel, le petit déjeuner n’est pas considéré comme un frais supplémentaire. Mon enfant de 2ans a été facturé de 6,50€ de petit déjeuner par jour. Aux vues de la qualité de ce petit déjeuner, c’est inadmissible et contraire à la promesse faite à la réservation.
Je suis curieuse de savoir si les enfants de 1 an sont aussi facturés.
En résumé: promesse tarifaire non respectée, petit déjeuner qui ne vaut clairement pas son prix, pas de réseau téléphonique ni de wifi comme « vendu »…
