We boekten een kamer via een website en ontvingen een bevestiging van de boeking. Bij de speciale verzoeken gaf ik aan dat het voor mijn man belangrijk was de finale van Wimbledon te zien en of we iets eerder dan de inchecktijd terecht zouden kunnen. Toegang tot de kamer was niet nodig slechts een plekje met WIFI om op zijn computer te kunnen kijken. Daarop ontvingen we een zeer onvriendelijk bericht met verzoek de boeking te annuleren. Geen redelijke uitleg anders dan dat we niet eerder de kamer in konden (hetgeen ook niet geeist was). Dat was paar uur voor de inchecktijd! Deze accomodatie verdient een hoofdprijs voor klantonvriendelijkheid. We hebben met veel moeite wat anders gevonden maar eenieder is gewaarschuwd!

This is such a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful location just up from the town, lovely room and space outside to sit and relax in the evening. They also had space for our bikes which was very useful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious (superb omelettes!), which set us up perfectly for the day ahead. Christian and Genevieve were great hosts, and left me wanting to return one day soon. Highly recommended!

Une superbe maison tenue par Christian et son épouse, hôtes charmants, attentionnés et disponibles . Petit déjeuner succulents, chambres spacieuses. Nous avons grandement apprécié cette dernière étape de notre semaine de randonnée.

Unser Aufenthalt in Gure Lana war der Abschluss unserer Pilgertour von Cahors bis nach St. Jean Pied de Porte. Es war alles bestens dort: ein einladendes Haus, ein schönes, modern eingerichtetes Zimmer, ein riesiges Badezimmer, ein wunderbares und reichhaltiges Frühstück, von Christian selbst serviert, danach sogar Transport mit dem Auto zum Bahnhof und vor allem sehr freundliche, herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber. |Vielen herzlichen Dank an Christian und Genevieve!

The hosts at this albergue really love what they are doing and it shows! They really made sure that you had everything you needed. They are located about 10 minutes walk into Saint-Jean-Pied de Port. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great!

What a wonderful surprise to have such a warm welcome by the hosts of this beautiful home. 6 friends booked for a nights stay. Each room was beautifully appointed, very spacious en-suites, beds extremely comfortable with white linen bedding and lovely soft white towels. The bathrooms all had complimentary soaps for your stay. Great location with lovely views and perfect to walk into the town offering a great selection of places to enjoy lunch and dinner. Delicious Breakfast including freshly baked croissants, bread, home made preserves, freshly squeezed orange juice and the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted. We certainly would recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful area. Thank you for a wonderful stay Andrea and Tony Jarvis on behalf of my friends

We stayed at Christian’s house for two nights before starting our Camino journey, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The house is spotless—immaculately clean and very comfortable. Christian and his wife were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. His wife was especially kind and even offered to do our laundry, which was such a thoughtful touch. The customer service was truly 10/10. My buddy and I were super impressed and couldn’t have asked for a better place to kick off our adventure. Highly recommended!

Une étape à privilégier pour une visite de saint jean pied de port ou bien entendu si vous faites une randonnée GR10 ou le chemin de saint jacques de compostelle. Une étape fort accueillante avec une belle culture du monde entier. Vous y retrouverez des hôtes fort sympathique ouvert, souriant et à l’écoute.

Staying at Gure Lana was the perfect start to my Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. The inn is ideally located in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, offering a peaceful rest before the journey. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing an excellent night's sleep. The owners were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The special breakfast they prepared was just what I needed to start my walk with the necessary energy. Highly recommend for any pilgrim looking for a comforting and energizing beginning!

We had a great time at Gure Lana. The B&B is awesome. Great accommodation, shower, linen. The breakfast was delicious! The owners are such great people and they go out of their way to help you and make your stay as comfortable as they can. Highly recommended!

Nous sommes arrivés à quatre au terme de notre chemin de Compostelle que nous avons réalisé à velo pendant 12 jours depuis Le Puy en Velay.Nous avons eu un accueil formidable à Gure Lana. C'est une adresse que nous recommandons fortement.La literie, la salle de bains etaient dans un état remarquable .Et que dire du petit déjeuner plantureux....

Our stay here was wonderful! It was our start of the Camino de Frances. It was a great start. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. The couple who hosted us were so kind and friendly. They even took us on a drive to see the part of the Camino we did not walk. I highly recommend a stay here!

Christian and Genevieve were fabulous hosts. The B and B is immaculately clean and very pretty. |Christian is a wonderful chef. Have the scrambled eggs! Best I have ever had. French press coffee, fruit juice……. I could go on and on. When we left they took pictures and sent them to us. ***** 5 star for sure.

The place is ideal if you’re looking for a quiet countryside setting. The couple who owns/ runs te place, Christian and Genevieve are the most gracious hosts! I believe this place is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in all my life! I travelled a lot on business and pleasure and this one is tops!

Un lugar de ensueño???? Un paraíso en plena naturaleza, los anfitriones fantásticos, te hacen sentir como en casa. El desayuno es pura ambrosía???? mermelada casera!!! Está a las afueras del pueblo pero se llega enseguida. Muy muy recomendable. Os dejo una fotografía de las vistas desde la habitación, una maravilla despertar así!!!

Super sympa, belle chambre, notre linge a été lavé et nous avons pris le petit déjeuner à 5h00 à titre exceptionnel. Un rêve - vaut chaque euro. Il devrait y avoir 6 étoiles pour le service... Oh qu'est-ce que je dis 7 ;-). Merci Christian

C'est un bijou ! Hôtes charmants, belle chambre et bain incroyable! Excellent moyen de commencer le Camino. C'est proche de la ville, facile d'aller à pied dans le village. Mais aussi assez loin pour se sentir comme dans la campagne française.
