It was ok, until they started a big renovation process in the summer. I have been suffering with huge headaches daily, waiting for the drills and hammers to stop. They had reassured me that noises will stop by 7 September, but mid-October they are still working every day, any random hour (even Sunday evenings). I wanted to change home but they require 1 month's notice, so I have to stay suffering every day and having problems with my job. They are one of the very few companies in Amiens that will reply to your emails if you are non-French, so it is ok if you want to arrive here, and stay for a couple of months while looking for other options. The managers seem good people for sure, but their management has me living in hell, unfortunately, and they have not provided any options to fix this.

EDIT: February 2024, constant works are still in place with promises of "ending soon"! It is as awful as living inside a construction site basically... Unbelievable.
