Très bonne expérience avec un camping de qualité, des emplacements à l'ombre, un cadre parfait quand on a des enfants comme nous. Le plus qu'on a apprécié, le lagon et les animations pour les petits. Evidemment le beau temps était avec nous aussi ! Nous recommandons fortement, merci pour l'accueil de qualité

Très beau cadre et espace spacieux , très bon accueil, on a eu le choix de notre emplacement avec sanitaires (douche,wc et évier vaisselle)
Nous n’avons pas eu de chance car installation électrique défectueuse sur les 3/4 de notre séjour (4 nuits) et débit trop faible pour prendre une douche. Concept à revoir….
Réservation à prévoir pour le restaurant mais qualité médiocre et personnel un peu désorganisé

My husband, mother in law and I joined my brother and his family who have been going here for years. We are sorry we haven’t been sooner. The fabulous staff and facilities far exceeded our expectations. It’s such a joy to see children of all ages independently flying around, safe and confident with money on their wristbands to avail of ice cream and buy the morning pastries. We loved our TAOS cabin with two outdoor areas and barbecue. The onsite restaurant and takeaway were great for lazy days and lots of activities whenever we wanted. The lake is beautiful and the pool area had plenty of loungers. The evening entertainment brought everyone together. It was blissfully peaceful and the entire place is superbly maintained. The chateau is a beautiful scene as you drive in. I couldn’t fault a single thing

Nice size camping pitch, good clean facilities, a site suitable for families more so than couples in my opinion. That didn't spoil our enjoyment. Nice pool area and plenty of activities, although in late June ,I would have expected more adult and evening entertainment. 2 miles from nearest village. A car or bike is a must. Area has plenty to offer.

Spent a month on one of the fully serviced pitches, overall had an excellent time as usual, this was our third year at this site. The facilities on the private sanitary pitches are good albeit they are only 2 seasons old, the kitchen is great albeit a bit cramped if yopu are tryingf to cook and wash dishes at the same time. The flow of hot water could be better and some of the fittings are very flimsy and may not stand the test of time. Leaving this to the side the pleasure is in having your own personal space, toilet and shower along with the nice gazebo area complete with table and 6 chairs. There is also a gas barbeque provided, the pitches are in the main flat and level although do vary in size a little.
The service from reception was as usual excellent, nothing is too much trouble, there is a good number of daily events should you choose to join in. The pool area is superb and the restaurant this year exceled itself. Praise must go to the chefs, manager and staff for delivering an excellent menu of local foods well prepared at a reasonable price. The service on the bar area cvould be a bit hit and miss and at times the cost of the same round varied by a few Euros, this I feel is down to staff being new, but then again the restautant staff were new and they scored 100%

So overall an excellent stay we will probably be back next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Castel Camping La Garangeoire. We booked directly and stayed in a “Mobile-home Cosy” with our family of four (kids aged 4 and 7). The spacious green area outside our cabin was a real highlight, perfect for the kids to play and make new friends while we could easily keep an eye on them. The whole site felt very safe and family-friendly.||||During our stay in June, temperatures reached up to 35°C. While the website mentions that, "as part of our commitment to the environment, our accommodations are not equipped with air conditioning," we initially thought that was a fair trade-off. However, we noticed the Eurocamp cabins all around us were fully air-conditioned, which made us feel slightly short-changed in the heat.||||The evening entertainment was lovely, and the bar/restaurant garden was another standout, large, fully enclosed, bouncing castle each evening and additional events each evening. The garden has just one exit, so again, it felt very secure and relaxed for families with young children.||||One thing to note: we chose to book direct rather than through Eurocamp because the eurocamp website advised that the kids’ camp was "park provided" - Hence we assumed it would be the same for all guests. However, we discovered Eurocamp runs a separate, independent kids’ club exclusively for their customers. It seemed better attended and more structured, which in hindsight would have been great for our kids, but it’s only available if you book via Eurocamp.||||That said, there was a noticeable price difference between the two options (approx 50% of a difference!!), with the main perks of Eurocamp being air conditioning and access to their kids’ club.||||We had a brilliant time overall and would absolutely return in the future.

We booked because it was a 5 star Castel location. It’s more than that, it is the complete campsite experience. Staff are excellent, facilities are excellent. We will be back

Il y a un choix énorme de location pour tous les styles et les budgets, tous sont ombragés et bien espacés des uns des autres. Il ne faut pas hésiter à se lever tôt au moins une fois pour parcourir le parc et admirer ses chênes tricentenaire, son étang et vous aurez même la chance de croiser la petite faune locale. Bref, ce camping est beau, avec un accueil chaleureux et d'une propreté impeccable. Belle découverte !

Un camping de rêve ! Il y'a un choix énorme de location, pour tous les styles et les budgets et tous, sont largement ombragés et bien espacés. Les blocs sanitaires sont d'une propreté impeccable. N'hésitez pas à parcourir le parc tôt le matin à la fraîche, les arbres comme certains chênes tricentenaires, sont magnifiques et vous aurez même la chance de croiser la petite faune locale.
Belle découverte, allez y les yeux fermés !

We have returned to Garangeorie several years and never disappointed. The service and welcome along with the facilities are excellent. We feel so relaxed and wish we could stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay - the campsite was beautifully presented, the flowers and reception area in particular was beautiful and the option of lagoon and pool was great with playground and great facilities for kids. Really enjoyed Safari Lodge which was really well equipped with bbq appreciated as well. Crepe party was great fun! Walking trails were great but I got utterly lost towards end of the organised Monday run and couldn't find route back to campsite for 50 minutes! Definitely some signs at key junctions for campsite would really help. Otherwise really positive! Some nice personalised touches and strong sense of it being family run

Really enjoyed our stay on one of your premium pitches with kitchenette and private bathroom in our campervan. ||||The staff we met were lovely. The team at the pool bar made us feel welcome - and didn’t have a bad interaction with anyone. ||||I didn’t think I’d enjoy the trip so much with the majority of your guests being young families - but found the site relaxing, plenty to do even for two middle aged gay men! Would have been nice if there were more activities to encourage people to get to know each other but the aim of our trip was to relax, switch off and enjoy exploring the Vendée, which we did, and I didn’t expect to enjoy the time spent solely on site as much as I did. ||||Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed as two 40-something men with a Labrador in a campervan in June.

This is a lovely site. The premium pitches are worth the investment - made everything so much more pleasant. The kitchenette was well appointed, having a private bathroom is a luxury I never knew I needed so much, and the pergola, BBQ, table and chairs (even a clothes airer) made things easy. Really elevated the experience. The pitch was absolutely massive - would’ve had room to spare for an additional tent.

The site was a great base to go to places like Savles, Noirmoutier & the seaside towns.. though there was enough on site to occupy two sceptical people too. Enjoyed the pool & the poolside bar, the live music one evening was lovely. Hadn’t expected half of Ireland to be on site - but the overall atmosphere was really pleasant & relaxing.

This is well worth a few days out if journeying south - and makes for a great standalone break to unwind.

Dit is een aanrader. Fijne camping met prima kampeerplaatsen. Met privesanitair wordt het nog luxer kamperen. Het personeel is zeer service gericht. De take away en het restaurant bieden erg goede kwaliteit met prima bediening.
Personeel bij de receptie zijn behulpzaam en klantgericht.

Me and my family really enjoyed our two week stay at La Garangeoire in France. The Bar and garden were very nice with some sort of entertainment being held there each evening also including a fun bouncy castle for your little ones. The mini market in the campsite sold all of the basics plus breakfast items for every morning. There is a takeaway shop in this campsite that sells chips, nuggets and lots of different pizzas. Accommodation was nice. Just your standard cabin with 2 - 3 bedrooms, a small kitchen, a bathroom and a decking with a dining table with chairs. There are plenty of empty grassy plots dotted around the campsite if you have come with a camper-van or tent. There are 2 main pools plus a shallow pool for the younger children and fast waterslides. The environment full of wilderness is stunning and there is an equestrian centre across the road from the campsite that is open to the guests so anyone who wants to can book a pony/horse trekking session through the forest and past the lake. The campsite also lets guests rent out a peddlo boat to take out onto the campsites lake. I recommend this campsite to people who love being outdoors and being active and love doing stuff in the wilderness. This sort of holiday also offers calmness and relaxation.

Our 8th stay in 10 years at this campsite. Our children are teenagers now, but still love coming and meeting friends made on previous stays. ||||We love the beautifully kept grounds, large pitches very professional and friendly staff who are always on hand to advise and support if needed (and we have needed with a few medical emergencies!). The owners Anne and Eric are really hands on, approachable, knowledgeable and passionate about the site and this shines through everything. ||||Pool area isn’t huge, but it’s big enough, I’m not training for the Olympics. My daughter loves the equestrian centre and rides a few times every stay. ||||We haven’t found another site that matches it. ||||We take our own tent and stay on a premium tent pitch which means bbq, chairs, table, fridge, parasol and storage cupboard are all included. ||||We will be back next year! ||||||
