CAMPING DU JARD

Bon camping avec de bonnes animations. Dommage que nous ayons passé de mauvaises nuits à cause de nos jeunes voisins irrespectueux...

Séjour de trois semaines en emplacements camping suffisamment grand. Personnel agréable et à la hauteur de nos attentes. Animations, ambiance, entretien du camping (sanitaires très propres). Les animateurs sont géniaux ainsi que les animations. Les tarifs de la restauration sont un peu élevés et peu variés mais ce n'est qu'un petit bémol. Nous reviendrons très certainement et le recommandons à notre famille et amis. Merci pour ce superbe séjour. Continuez comme ça c'est parfait. Rien à redire. Jeunes et moins jeunes seront ravis dans ce camping familial où il est impossible de s'ennuyer. Bravo à toute l'équipe et aux patrons.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour mes filles et moi. Nous étions en tente, emplacement très ombragé, piscine au top pour les enfants (mes filles n ont même pas souhaité aller à la mer pourtant juste à côté), sanitaires et douches très propres, accueil impeccable.
Petit point négatif il manque un peu d éclairage dans les allées surtout là où nous étions aucun éclairage.

We had a 12 night stay on a camping pitch late July / early August 2020. The camping pitch was excellent with electricity and water and was a reasonable size. The site looks clean and fresh and is well laid out and has excellent facilities including a good outdoor swimming pool with separate slides. The pool area is large with plenty of sunbeds. The are a number of parasols to use if required. There is also an indoor pool. The site has a good bar with varied evening entertainment and there is a restaurant/takeaway which did excellent food. There is also a shop which is plentiful of fresh bread and baguettes every morning. There is also sports facilities and mini golf on site and there are pool and table tennis tables and arcade games onsite . The staff are friendly and helpful and the condition, layout and quality of the site is excellent. The toilets and showers are good and regularly cleaned (seats and toilet paper provided). The location of the site is good and is approximately 3 miles from La Tranche sur Mer centre and main beach and the same distance from La Faute sur Mer. This can be easily cycled on the dedicated cycle/footpath and is flat. There is a also a free bus which runs throughout the day into La Tranche. Both La Tranche and La Faute are lovely holiday towns with plenty of bars/restaurants with shops. There are markets on specific days. Closer to the site (within 1 mile) is La Griere which also offers good bars, restaurants, some shops and a funfair with arcade. There is also beach access within minutes of the site and there are a number of access points in both directions from the site to La Tranche and La Faute, in fact too many to visit on one holiday. The cycling in the area is excellent and you can cycle north from the site using the cycle paths as far north as you would like. Jard Sur Mer is around 15 miles and utilises tarmac tracks and forest tracks. As always in the Vendee region the cycle routes are brilliantly signposted. There are a number of towns on route so you can stop for a drink/food etc. It is also good cycling going south and runs through La Faute and beyond. Just over the bridge from La Faute is L'Aigullion sur Mer which has a beautiful sandy safe bathing/swimming/boating area with aquatic inflatable course. For surfing there are brilliant beaches at La Terrierre and at Les Conches (these are both north of the site and have facilities and lifeguards). There is also an aquatic centre in La Tranche where you can undertake a number of water sports such as sailing, wind surfing and paddle boarding. Boat trips to la Rochelle can also be taken from this area. Overall this is a brilliant relaxed site and the location is great. The whole area has a relaxed holiday feel and there is everything you need to support a family holiday for all ages. There are supermarkets close by and Super U is approx. 2.5 miles away. La Tranche is known as 'little California' and it has great sandy beaches all around and the weather and climate are excellent.

Pas assez d annimation rarement a l heure ,niveau de l accueil plutôt déçu car pas très emmable et se faire limite agressé pour la location d un frigo parceque vous vouliez le récupérer avant la date , sanitaire pas assez entretenue malgré la crise sanitaire ,
Malgré ses détails nous avons passé des bonnes vacances .
