This is an absolutely charming, small hotel with beautifully appointed rooms displaying remarkable attention to detail. The decor is chic and the rooms, though small, are perfectly appointed with everything you would need—gorgeous toiletries, nice lines, extra pillows, a refrigerator stocked with water and drinks. Regis who assisted me with every detail of our stay is so kind and helpful. The hotel is located just beyond a square with some touristic restaurants. We arrived on a Monday which was unfortunate because all the good restaurants were closed but the hotel made up for this. The breakfast is equally beautiful and abundant. They will make you eggs and bring you ham and other items upon request. The range of what they offer is spectacular.

a great place to stay, hotel was lovely, the staff were charming especially the boss, and the car parking was good. Breakfast was amazing and the bed was comfy. great position in the city near the sights and good restaurants.

The Hotel St Pierre is the perfect boutique townhouse city hotel! Just steps from the sites of Saumur but on a tiny street next to the cathedral so it's very quiet, plus it has excellent a/c so you don't really need to open the windows. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated, elegantly furnished, with everything in perfect working order, including small but very modern bathrooms. Breakfast is served in a lovely light-filled room and all the items are brought to the table, with beautiful table settings, high-quality food, and attentive service. It was the most relaxing breakfast experience of our trip. We'd definitely stay here again if we go to Saumur.

From the moment we arrived we realized this place was very, very special. Lovingly restored and run by the energetic owner Regis, the St Pierre offers comfortable rooms and amenities in a great location.||I believe Regis works at least 16 hours every day attending to every imaginable need and request from his guests. There were no requests we made that he failed to fulfill. And with his mother at the reception and his father at the bar it really became a very special family affair that we won’t soon forget.||Our rooms were very comfortable with plenty of space to put our things away for a 4 night stay. They serve a lovely breakfast in the morning and have sitting rooms in the hotel and a small outdoor garden to enjoy an evening drink. The cost was very reasonable considering the high quality standards. ||We went with another couple on their first trip to France. They returned home with a lot of love for the country and our time with Regis was a big contributor to that.

L'hôtel à énormément de charmes. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement bienveillants et chaleureux avec leurs clients. Tout est fait pour que votre séjour se passe pour le mieux du moment où nous réservons la chambre à la remise des clefs à notre départ.
C'est un endroit de qualité, propre, chaleureux, idéal lorsque l'on veut passer un doux moment à Saumur.
Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, avec des produits de qualité et pour la majorité locaux.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec un accueil chaleureux et très agréable la chambre est absolument superbe décoré avec des matériaux nobles un très bon goût tout était présent pour passer un excellent moment, le petit déjeuner était royal avec de très bons produits, nous reviendrons c'est sûr encore un grand merci, j'ai eu l'impression d'être une princesse merci Mr et Mme Duchesne Antonietta et patrick

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Saint Pierre. It was a fabulous boutique hotel in a very charming area of the old town. The room was very comfortable including the bed and room temperature. The amenities were all high quality including the bath and body products. The hotel manager made sure our stay was good including the delicious breakfast of high quality, local products.

Lors d’un séjour professionnel à Saumur J’ai passé un très bon moment à l’hôtel Saint Pierre où tout est pensé pour offrir une expérience unique et raffinée. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été chaleureusement accueilli et, cerise sur le gâteau, j’ai eu la chance d’être surclassé. Merci encore.
L’ Hôtel très calme est plein de charme bénéficiant d'un emplacement idéal, permettant de tout faire à pied. Les chambres sont bien décorées, mêlant élégance et confort. Chaque détail, du mobilier aux petites attentions, témoigne d’un soin méticuleux et d’une véritable recherche.
Les chambres sont non seulement propres mais également bien agencée les lits spacieux et confortable Le personnel se distingue par sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité, et un accueil chaleureux.
Le parking privé est un réel plus.
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour un séjour à Saumur

Having stayed in several 4-star hotels on my 2 week road trip around Loire area, this hotel was the worst of all of those that I stayed in. I would say this is a 3-star hotel with 5 star prices. Or a hostel from the service point of view, Location is good but that’s it. I would rather look at Hotel Anne d’Anjou or Mercure on the other side of the river Loire.
LOCATION
Next to the Saint-Pierre Church and Square the location in Saumur is excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking but there are several parking spots around the church. One might say that there are parking at the back of the hotel but there were some renovation ongoing in the house next to the hotel so those parking spaces were occupied by the construction company’s vehicles.
THE BUILDING
Hotel Saint-Pierre is a small city hotel and hence does not have any grounds apart a small back yard sitting area. With 3 floors they have an oddly jumping lift.
COMMON AREAS
In addition to the outside sitting area there is a breakfast room and a small bar next to the reception desk. There are spider webs in the sealing corners and the areas are crammed with furniture and knickknacks.
ROOM
Again cobwebs in the corners and someone’s food left in the fridge. Two mini TV’s with some channels out of order. Again too much furniture and knickknacks tucked in the room.

A fantastic hotel in Saumur. The rooms are on the smaller size but have everything you need and have been recently renovated. I would highly recommend.

Grundsätzlich hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben, wenn der Empfang des Chefs mich nicht so an einen Herbergsvater erinnert hätte. Er wollte uns den Autoschlüssel erst nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung wieder zurückgeben. Sowas habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Ziemliche freakshow.

Das Hotel hätte eigentlich 5 Sterne verdient wenn der Besitzer nicht so unverschämt und unfreundlich gewesen wäre. Absolut indiskutabel, so kann man auch die Gäste verprellen. Sehr schade. Anschreien ist keine Lösung wenn man im Stress ist.

Le joli établissement est charmant : très bonne literie, tous les équipements de chambre sont bien organisés, les toilettes à la japonaise et équipées d'une petite douchette, entre autres. ||On sent partout l'intention de se soucier du bien-être des clients.||Surtout, ne manquez pas le petit déjeuner! ||La qualité et la conception sont remarquables !

What a sweet hotel.
It is a smaller boutique that is now run by the 4 th generation, the story is endearing.
The room was clean, simple and had everything we needed. And a view of the ocean. ( bed, bathroom, blowdryer, coffee/tea, tv )
Front desk was incredibly friendly, location is perfect…next to rempart to walk and views of ocean, close to all shopping, restaurants and sights of Saint Malo.
I would stay again.

This hotel exceeds expectations in every way. The rooms (we had three) were all different and all special. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, location is central, and car was parked and moved for us. The owners could not be more helpful. Overall a great place to stay. 10/10 recommend

A wonderful small, boutique hotel in a great central location. Rooms were lovely and the bed super comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A drink in the hotel bar was a lovely way to finish the day. The only small negative was the choice at breakfast was rather limited.

Nous sommes venus en ayant réservé via Staycation, un pack qui comprenait une visite de cave, le petit déjeuner, la chambre et une capsule huiles essentielles pour la douche

La chambre: grande belle propre, bien équipé, minibar, coffre, machine à café, une carte avec une sélection de plats et de boissons.
L’accueil:souriant, chaleureux,professionnel. on ne trouvait pas de place. Le réceptionniste est aller garer notre voiture dans un parking sécurisé.
On a adoré le petit déjeuner c’est l’un des meilleurs que nous ayons manger produits frais,locaux, variées, on pense à tout le monde avec du sang gluten et du sans lactose, des Topping génial.
Le reste du personnel était tout aussi gentils (petit plus pour le petit chat trop mignon qui nous tenue compagnie ????)
