on a walking holiday and I suspect this the most prestigous of the hotels we stayed in. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely room with coffee machine and kettle - most unusual for France! Restaurant excellent and good vegetarian food for us. Great end to our holiday

This is the perfect place for those wanting to explore the Basque region, or like us as a fantastic stop over on our way travelling to Andalucia with our two dogs. The hotel is located in a small and beautiful Basque village with a great walk for the dogs on the door step. The restaurant offers a selection of menus and always uses ingredients from the region. The cooking, service and wine list are all of top quality. A summer’s evening dining on the garden terrace is one of life’s true pleasures.

We stayed 2 nights whilst heading from the UK down thru Spain. Lovely place, staff very attentive, food from the restaurant was exceptional. We travelled with our two Labradors, hotel very dog friendly. They have a resident cat. Wonderful relaxing gardens, great quiet place to staff, popular with ramblers. Ample car parking.
