Ausgezeichnete Lage am Hauptplatz, direkt neben der Abbaye de Fontevraud. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Im schmucken Restaurant habe ich gut gespiesen.

A Most Delightful Hotel
Review of Hotel La Croix Blanche Fontevraud
We have just returned from the most wonderful and memorable stay in this hotel in such a beautiful situation on the village square. We stayed 2 nights in room 25 on the ground floor and could not fault it. The large bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept well. It was very quiet even with the window open.
The bathroom was large with a walk in shower and lovely white towels. We ate in the hotel both nights and were delighted with the food which was high quality and well cooked. The breakfast buffet was also very pleasant and filling.
We thought this village and this hotel were among the loveliest we have ever stayed in and we have travelled all over the world. The ambience was perfect for the setting of the magnificent abbey whose entrance is just 20 metres away. The whole village is picturesque and the hotel felt part of the historic wealth of the setting.
The abbey was just so well worth coming from England for 48 hours for ! The fantastic tombs of the Plantagenet kings and queens are so well preserved and in such a magnificent setting. It seriously had the WOW factor.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone thinking of visiting this area.

Super étape d'une nuit dans le cadre d'un coffret Smartbox à l'Hôtel de la Croix Blanche. Beaucoup de charme et idéalement placé face à l'entrée de l'abbaye, cet hôtel a su nous ravir sur tous les points... L'accueil chaleureux, la chambre très propre et fonctionnelle avec une excellente literie, un joli bar lounge où prendre l'apéro, le petit déjeuner complet et varié... et également le restaurant testé pour le diner qui propose, dans une très jolie salle, une carte simple et une cuisine excellente. Nous sommes ravis d'avoir pu tester cet hôtel dans lequel nous reviendrons sans hésiter pour d'autres éventuels séjours et nous l'avons recommandé autour de nous.
Très très bon accueil personnel super sympathique à l’hôtel comme au restaurant.
Dîner dans un cadre agréable, petit déjeuner copieux et du choux.
Seul bémol l’absence de climatisation dans la chambre.
