This place is a DREAM. The house is in a great location. It's warm, bright and beautifully appointed. The food is insane. The Joyu quiver is absolutely excellent with super nice boards on offer. I loved the fact that I got picked up at the airport and taken to whatever surf spot was working on any given day since forecasting, driving and parking when you're on vacation can be so stressful. The owners have fantastic energy and frankly it was crazy hard to say goodbye!

This place is great!
Family run with friendly people (plus a friendly dog :-)), amazing food and located in Bidart within walking distance of local beaches and just a few minutes drive from Biarritz.
The vibe at Joyu is friendly, cool and chill, Geoffrey is a great surf guide and always picks the best local spots to suit the conditions. Highly recommended!!

Presque envie de m’abstenir de commenter pour limiter l’affluence. Maison parfaite pour les surfeurs intermédiaires en pension complète. Geoffrey connait les spots comme sa poche et assure le guiding dans la bonne humeur. De retour du surf on déguste ensemble les délicieuses recettes maison de Jutta avec le chien familial dans les pattes. Jo propose par ailleurs un tres bon choix de planches. No brainer, je reviendrai!
