We loved staying in this charming small hotel that is in a grand old house. Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The common areas such as the lounge, terrace and dining area are beautiful. Chilled water and wine is always available, and the hotel is well located for a stroll into central Biarritz or the beach, and has several good restaurants and a wine bar nearby. The breakfast at Thai hotel consists of very high quality products and drinks and is delightful

Situé idéalement au centre de Biarritz, l'hôtel comprend des chambres spacieuses, confortables et bien équipées ainsi que des salon et véranda particulièrement agréables. Le personnel rencontré, Ambroise, Mélody et Tanguy est très attentionné, réactif et professionnel et toujours souriant. Sans oublier le magnifique petit déjeuner!

On se sent très bien dans cet hôtel. Accueil des plus agréables. Très belle déco. Seul regret : certains produits proposés au petit déjeuner pourraient être plus qualitatifs (beurre, yaourts, confiture) venant de petits producteurs au lieu d'un géant des produits hoteliers

I cannot speak more highly of the outstanding service we got from Melodie and the team at Edouard VII. I've never felt so welcomed in a hotel. The place is beautiful - like stepping into a (beautifully managed) time capsule. A true oasis in a gorgeous neighbourhood. Peaceful and quiet with great coffee shops and the market close by. My husband and I are honestly speechless with how well we've been treated and our little toddler too. Simply the best.

Hotel whilst not luxurious was very comfortable, clean and very pleasant; characterful too.|The staff were very accommodating and the night staff extremely friendly and helpful. I had a second floor double bed room with shower - comfortable and clean. I took breakfast which was was very good. Location was great. |Downside is lack of parking. Parking is very expensive in the town. First night parked at Indigo car park on Rue Marechal Foch €24 overnight. Second night of stay parked on roadside of Rue Pringle for free.

From the moment we walked into the Hôtel Edouard until leaving three days later, we felt welcome and well cared for. The young woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for parking and nearby restaurants and sites. Other staff members we talked with were equally friendly and professional. Our room was quiet, very clean and comfortable. We had room for our suitcases on a daybed and appreciated the coffeemaker, tea kettle and mini-fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. The common areas of the hotel included a living room, glassed-in porch and breakfast room which felt more like a lovely private home than the ground floor of a hotel. It was very easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go and there was a boulangerie and several nice restaurants just at the end of the block. We highly recommend the Hôtel Edouard VII!

Le personnel est extrêmement compétent, disponible et agréable. |Le lieu est plein de charme, ce boutique hôtel est parfait comme hotel en cœur de ville. Le petit déjeuner est servi sous une véranda très jolie et calme, un havre de paix. On peut même y travailler la journée lors de déplacements professionnels.

Hotel muy acogedor y tranquilo, con servicios y personal excelente. Es súper cómodo para viajar con niños pequeños, además de que los tratan con mucho cariño, te sientes como en casa. Es un edificio antiguo reformado con mucho gusto y funcional. La planta baja es muy cómoda para estar y las habitaciones son de buen tamaño y están limpias. El desayuno muy bueno, variado y de calidad. Nos ha encantado!

I had a wonderful stay at Edouard VII. The hotel is beautiful and cozy, equipped with everything you need. My room even had a small terrace. Everything was clean and decorated with this special loving touch that turns a good hotel to a great one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. |It is conveniently located near the old town with only a few min walk to Les Halles and an ample choice of bars, cafes and restaurants - and of course the beach.

Je suis déçu de mon séjour, pour un seul point.
Tout est top, l'accueil, les services, la chambre en elle même. Tout est bien, sauf pour moi un point primordial. L'insonorisation. J'ai pu au cours de ma nuit entendre mon voisin uriner, parler au téléphone et manger. Je vous assure que ce fut une expérience extrêmement désagréable.
De plus, je n'ai pas eu de chance mais la personne de la chambre voisine est rentrée tard et cela ma valu un réveil en sursaut.
De fait, l'intimité au cœur de la chambre n'est pas respectée.

Si vous aimez les ambiances pompeuses, les accueils prétentieux, passez votre chemin.

La météo peu clémente lorsque nous sommes venus, nous a poussé à nous attarder bien volontiers dans l'hôtel.
La chambre, le salon, la terrasse couverte, tout invite à la flânerie dans ce lieu où l'on se sent enveloppé par le décor .
Parfois les émotions sont difficiles à décrire.
Nous étions bien... là, simplement.
