I arrived at 8.33pm ..restaurant closing at 9pm to be told I was"too late". A piece of advice: (I fully appreciate you have criteria to cope with) but...
1. Don't tell us when the restaurant is "closing" - tell us when is 'last orders by'..
2. When someone comes late (spologies; two, other restaurants closed despite info. to the contrary online! ..not your fault, of course) why not say we can offer you (one quick, easy dish) -much better than 'f¤ck ¤ff' if you see what I mean!
3. As a foreign tourist (obvious army French is appalling).. you might have tried a little harder!
