HOLIDAY INN LILLE ^{* * * *}

I have stayed on lots of IHG hotels over the past decade in many different countries, however this was my worst experience ever. No air-conditioning (even though it's advertised as hiving it) It had heating. I booked the suite as I was traveling with three little kids and was meant to be a short stay to get some sleep as we had onward seven hours travel in the morning. Sadly we hardly had any sleep due to heat, the room service never brought the breakfast until I rang them and I was told I didn't put time on the form! (could have just asked?). Was told onsite parking but told all spaces are full. The lady on reception was very unhelpful and initially said there are not fan and kept repeating "Its still winter in France" despite 29 degrees in the bedroom! Finally after complaining to support line suddenly she managed to find the fan. I have raised a complaint and have case reference number but I still wait to hear from the hotel!

I stayed in Remis on the way to Venice on a holiday in an Appartment which I thought was much better value and host was extremely welcoming. The only pluses was cleanliness and location (make sure you have parking sorted despite of what it says on website).

Cela fait plusieurs séjours que j'y passe pour le travail, avec mon chien, de l'extérieur fait un peu vieillot mais les chambres sont modernes ( des TV plus récentes serait il plus ), personnel accueillant. Je recommande

Fantastic hotel the staff are brilliant and so knowledgeable about the local area. Nothing is too much trouble.

Un cadre très agréable et surtout une équipe fantastique pour vous accueillir et trouver des solutions à tous les petits tracas que vous pourriez rencontrer.
