AUX WATERZOOÏ HOTEL MERVEILLEUX

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the room was dirty and poorly maintained, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, nothing was done to rectify the situation.

Access to the hotel was also a significant issue. It is evident that no thought was given to disabled access, making it extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues to navigate the premises. This lack of consideration is unacceptable in this day and age.

Additionally, there was no air conditioning or even a fan provided in the room. When I requested a fan, the staff simply said they do not offer that service. As a result, the room was unbearably hot, making it feel like a sauna and impossible to get a good night's sleep.

Overall, my stay was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of basic amenities, poor cleanliness, and inadequate access facilities make it not worth the money.

Our stay here was for one night to break up a journey from our place in Flaine to our home in Oxford, and what a very pleasant surprise.

The room is superb, comfortable, clean, well presented and the on-suite is just perfect. I would suggest that the owners consider adding in sockets with USB ports as a great touch however (we left our adaptors in Flaine) Great check in process outside the main entrance, and the restaurant for a buffet breakfast was great.

The coffee is really nice, its the little details the owners have taken care of that makes the difference, the ladies in the restaurant are very friendly, efficient and helpful.

Overall, this is a very pleasant, affordable and comfortable hotel, if you find yourself in Dunkirk, this is the hotel to stay in.

Délicieux waterzooi au poisson ????????
Tout petit bémol, le pain, baguette blanche plus qu'ordinaire, aurait mérité d'être un peu plus gourmand.

Nous avons découvert le restaurant accessible sans être client de l'hôtel.
Le waterzooi de poisson qui donne son nom à l'établissement est raffiné et copieux (moules, saumon poisson blanc et crevettes). Décor chaleureux.
Service professionnel et souriant
Point d'amélioration : le pain, il existe certainement de très bonnes boulangeries à Dunkerque.
