Had a great time. No reservation but they had bar seating. Bar was great but I’d recommend reservations to be assured seating. Service was friendly and the food was on point. Excellent find!

It was great! Such good fish
We visited the 1940 Dunkirk war museum first then walked from there along part of the heritage trial.
Once on the beach we could see the location of the massive evacuation that took place there in May of that year.
Lunch was very nice. The Oysters from Normandy we fresh and tasted like the ocean, just as they should be, the salmon and wasabi was delicious, we shared the beef Capacio along with sardines and salad. The whole treat was washed down with a dry Alsace Riesling.
The prices were very reasonable. We spend around 130 euros.
The staff were very hospitable and friendly.
We very much recommend the L’iode and its location right on the Dunkirk Beach.
