Lovely setting and place to have a drink and food.

However, I found the staff to be rather rude and flustered .

Hopefully, it's just a one-off bad day as the stting is beautiful

We attended on two separate days, the man who appears to be the owner is extremely miserable and makes you feel very unwelcome. A shame as this is the only place open during the day. The woman is lovely and complete contrast to her counterpart.

really rude owner, grumpy and unwelcoming. did not accommodate our group and we ended up leaving and going to a nicer restaurant/cafe in montaigu. not coming here again, he lost seven customers today.

Loved it. Traditional French café/bar. Down to earth, easy going; we arrived and asked for food, the Chef was off and so the landlady said, "sit down and I'll bring you something ". It was a delicious platter with a variety of tomatoes, beetroot, cheese and charcuterie with some bread and bowls of French fries: simple and delicious. Just go. You will be looked after.
