LA CABANE DU LAMAS

Un grand week-end inoubliable à la Cabane du Lamas ! Margot et Jean nous ont accueillis comme de la famille, plein d'attentions et de délicieuses gourmandises. Le lieu est tout simplement magique, la cabane regorge de petits secrets et on s’y sent merveilleusement bien, à l’ombre des magnifiques chênes. En famille, nous avons pleinement profité de ce havre de paix, entourés d’une nature luxuriante. Un immense merci… Il ne reste plus qu’une chose à faire, revenir !

Séjour merveilleux, un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer et se déconnecté de tout.une nature généreuse entouré d'animaux, ainsi qu'un petit îlot où l'on peut méditer en toute tranquillité. Margaux et jean-michel les propriétaires du gîte sont adorables ,généreux et bienveillants. Nous sommes repartis avec de bons œufs de la ferme ainsi que de bons légumes. Myself, my partner and our dog Herbie spend two months at the cabin by the lake at Peneleau in May and June - 2022. Margot, Jean, Nicholas and their lovely dog Matti made our stay very memorable. The weather was very hot, so they uncovered the pool earlier than normal - a godsend. The lake is so well looked after and the lamas. chickens and black swans were a delightful part of our day. Margot brought us fresh eggs many times - and when Tim caught a huge catfish in the lake Jean made him a special fish-shaped trophy. We could walk anywhere around the farm, and our dog had the time of his life. He's a nervous rescue and this great experience taught him so much. Everything worked great including air con which was much needed! the wifi was excellent, TV, 2 fridges, washing machine all good. We highly recommend the Old Lord Raglan pub in Montignac with the friendliest landlord - Richard. WE learned a huge amount about he area, including a great local vet, the best places to eat etc. Miramont was the closest town for supermarkets, and we enjoyed market days there. Margot's english was much better than she said, so thank you for bearing with us M! Great part of the world, extremely kind family. Thank you from Marion, Tim and Herbie. xxx
