Un merveilleux séjour dans une maison élégante et pleine de charme avec le souci du détail. L’’accueil des hôtes en fait un lieu où l’on se sent parfaitement bien .

Of all the hotels we stayed at during our 2 week tour in France, this was my favourite. A very warm welcome and a tour around the property. The space was amazing and each area well presented. Travelling with a dog this was such a lovely place for walks in the grounds as well as out and about. Saint Cirq Lapopie was a beautiful gem of a place to drive to-unique and there was a wine museum! |My only regret was not booking the table d’hote however it meant we could utilise the outdoor kitchen area for a picnic! I’d love to go back one day.

Le lieu est magnifique, nous étions dans le gîte avec jaccuzi, c'était absolument parfait !

Domaine de Labarthe is a gem of a stay! Guillaume and Laurence are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who could not do more to make us feel at home.

Everything about our stay was perfect from beginning to end. The location is idyllic and our room was charming and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant recommendations were perfect.

We will return!

Domaine de Labarthe was an ideal holiday guest house. It was in a superb location, attractive surroundings with beautiful landscaping. Guillaume and Laurence were the perfect hosts - very friendly without being intrusive and looked after us very well. They served us a lovely dinner one evening with excellent wine from their vineyard. We were also given a comprehensive list of good restaurants close by. Our bedroom was exceptional. We also enjoyed a swim in their beautiful heated pool. Highly recommended.

Our firth time to stay at this 5 star, dog friendly gem. The most charming welcoming hosts made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Oscar our dog made friends with the local dogs with lots of enclosed space for him to explore and run around. Breakfast was amazing with home made preserves and fresh pastries. The location is stunning and the grounds beautiful. A fantastic floral display of roses. We will return again on our way to Spain next year for sure. A destination in itself.

What a beautiful Guest House. The rooms are spotless, very comfortable with all required amenities. Stunning bathroom with good towels. The hosts are amazing, nothing is too much trouble...even provided us with transportation to a venue! and the grounds are stunning! Lovely heated pool. On our arrival we requested an evening meal, which was to die for.

My wife and I spent one night at the Domaine and the experience was wonderful. The grounds, the building and room are beautiful and well kept. The attention of the owners was first class. They were relaxed and welcoming ; like in our own home. We had aa technical inconvenience with our car and the owner did not hesitate in helping and guide us to a nearest car technical service were we solve the issue. We would not hesitate to returning to such a place as soon as we have the opportunity. We strongly recommend the Domaine de Labarthe for a dreamlike experience with firts class hosts.

This was an easy-to reach stopover on our drive back to the north from the south of France and we could not have been made more welcome by the owners of this lovely domaine. All so comfortable and relaxing - and the breakfast was perfect. If you are lucky enough to book your evening meal here, you are in for a treat; Guillaume's wine is delicious and Laurence's cooking fabulous

We were greeted by a wonderful,welcoming host and the smell of new mown grass. You can't beat that. It was off season so we practically had the place to ourselves. I felt like Louis XIII when the young ladies started setting up the breakfast. Best goat cheese ever. Fresh fruit and breads of all kinds. Two super-friendly dogs. Completely quiet except for the sounds of nature. We purchased one of their wines and apparently it was awesome. |When we finally did meet the vintner,he was really what one pictures a winemaker to be. He was very excited to tell us about his family's wine. Fantastic. Perfect hosts.

You can purchase them to take wine, soap, shampoo, cream, etc. home too.||Rooms|Very comfortable, charmingly decorated with fresh roses and estate view. Comfortable beds, local wool quilt, soap and shampoo from Rocamadour. Very elegant.||Nearby activities|We could have stayed on the premises and enjoyed all the facilities, library/books, and local recommendations, but only had 2 nights and chose to visit the historical Rocamadour 1hr away and Saint Cirque Lapopie. Cahors also has many restaurants and is a short 15 minutes away. Toulouse is 1.5hr away.||Food & drinks|Freshest and great local cheese, bread, jam, butter, cereal, fruits, etc. Definitely try Domaine de Labarthe sparkling wine and make room to take some home - excellent quality as good as many champagne.||Noteworthy details|All the facility rooms and gites are very well decorated. Plan ahead to be polite so others can plan too like dining - restaurants need reservations and it's best to get there at 1900-1930. Know when you may want breakfast. Request wine as soon as you know, etc.

We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the location of Espere ---and by all the little details that seemed to anticipate each of our needs and desires---the small adjustable individual reading lights, a warming towel rack, a bit of outcropping rock used as a shelf for a tiny lamp, not to mention a sumptuous breakfast every morning in front of a blazing fire---a breakfast that varied each day --- fresh orange juice, pains raisins, brebis yogurt, fresh pineapple wedges, grapefruit halves, delectable croissants, and so on...
Our hosts were incredibly kind and extremely well-informed. The whole experience was an apex of thoroughly gracious hospitality, aesthetic beauty, and gastronomic delight! We loved every single minute and felt sad to depart this tranquil paradise!

We stayed at Domaine Lebarthe for three days, and it was the best part of our trip to France. Laurence and Guillaume were incredibly warm and helpful with local activities and restaurant recommendations. (The local wineries within walking distance were lovely, and I enjoyed an excellent yoga class.) Their place is so restful and every detail is considered. I revisit in my mind often - I would love to return again in person!

Fantastic! It’s a Beautiful place, generous owners, good food, peaceful garden, swimming pool, very good bed linens. I strongly recommend to stay at least 3 nights.
Many promenades around or just resting at the domaine.

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine au Pigeonnier. Le domaine est superbe, le pigeonnier, confortable et décoré avec goût, les hôtes attentifs. Tout est fait pour pouvoir passer un séjour très agréable sans prise de tête : piscine, cuisine d'été etc De là, il est possible de randonner où de partir plus loin en voiture, la région est magnifique et les conseils des hôtes sont à suivre !
Mention spéciale pour Smoking et Mola, les deux petits chiens du domaine, qui sont adorables !

Nous avons passé une semaine au domaine de Labarthe, dont l'emplacement est parfait pour rayonner sur le Lot et découvrir la (magnifique) région.
Le domaine est magnifique et paisible, les hôtes charmants et pleins d'attentions (cuisine d'extérieur, vin de la maison à disposition, conseils...).
Délicieux petits déjeuners autour de la piscine.
Recommandé à 100 % !

Nous avons passé presque une semaine au Domaine.
Nous recherchions du calme, nous n’avons pas été déçu. Nous avons été reçu ainsi que notre chien dans une magnifique chambre, nous avons pu profiter de la cuisine d’été qui était mise à notre disposition.
La décoration des bâtiments est faite avec beaucoup de goût et de raffinement, merci aux propriétaires et leur équipe pour l’accueil, leur gentillesse ainsi que leur disponibilité.
Nous recommandons cet établissement à toute personne qui recherche de la sérénité dans un lieu de haute qualité.
Je ne peux pas finir sans parler des petits déjeuners différents tous les jours comprenant des produits locaux et délicieux.

Difficult to imagine a more relaxing break. We stayed in a self-catering Gite for two which was well appointed and very comfortable. There is a good Intermarche in the village. The Domaine is beautiful, peaceful and very calm. Laurence is a wonderful host who offered to cook Table d'hotes for us on arrival as no local restaurants were open out of season. It was superb. She is on call for anything you may need but otherwise leaves you alone to relax - without lists of rules and regulations! The restaurant in the next village is excellent and 5 mins on quiet back roads. We stayed here as a base for exploring both The Lot and The Dordogne and it was perfect in every respect.
