Si Google diese opción de hacer una “súper reseña” (como el pase de oro de GOT Talent), sin duda el mio sería este.
Qué sitio tan increíble, qué acogedoras las habitaciones, el salón, la cocina, el jardín, etc. Y sobre todo, ¡qué anfitriones tan buenos! Son amables, atentos, simpáticos… ¡están en todo! Y cocinan increíblemente bien.
Por hablar un poco del lugar, las habitaciones son muy grandes, la cama es muy, MUY cómoda, el baño amplio y con una ducha estupenda, el jardín precioso y el salón súper acogedor. Destacar lo bien ubicado que está, ya que pilla en el centro de muchos de los sitios que probablemente vayas a visitar.
Repetiremos seguro, recomendable 10000%

I don't usually post reviews - there's generally something slightly not right, however this place seems to have everything just right. It's in a stunningly beautiful setting, so quiet and peaceful, I slept so well! The house is quirky and full of character, my room and bathroom were delightful, breakfast was delicious, Sarah and Steve were friendly and relaxed. It was a great base for visiting the local medieval villages in the Lot and Célé valleys, I'll definitely go back.

I stayed for 3 nights and would have loved to have stayed more. What a wonderful place- so comfortable and relaxing. The views are fabulous and Sarah and Steve are great hosts and give you lots of information about local places to visit. Also great for walking!

Had the most glorious stay at this stunning treasure of a holiday getaway. From the moment we arrived it was truly relaxing and peaceful. The room was luxurious and uniquely styled. There were so many beautiful places to visit, a step back in time. The location is stunning. Second time we visited and will be returning.

Lieu magique et reposant! Steven et Sarah nous ont accueillis comme des rois et bien conseillés pour visiter cette magnifique région.

Très belle découverte pour ce lieu plein de charme. Vieille bâtisse magnifiquement restaurée dans le souci du détail, chambres tres spacieuses , accueil sympathique des propriétaires, petit déjeuner qualitatif...

My husband and I were pleased to have experienced this lovely get away weekend. Sarah and her husband were welcoming and kind. The room we stayed in was impeccable so was the swimming pool and everything else. We highly recommend this beautiful and relaxing place.

Hemos vuelto a repetir este año (estuvimos en 2022) y la estancia a vuelto a ser increíble. La casa en sí es espectacular, junto con el entorno, la piscina, el porche, ... El año pasado nos quedamos encantados y por eso hemos vuelto a repetir. Sólo por la casa merece la pena quedarse en Mas de Garrigue.
Y la ubicación está muy bien para poder explorar y disfrutar toda la zona del Lot, Ceré, Figeac, St Circ, etc. La ubicación es muy tranquila y agradable.
Pero es que además tanto Sarah como Steven son un verdadero encanto. Buenos consejos, reservas en algún restaurante cercano y siempre con una sonrisa.
En resumen, muy recomendable y con ganas de volver la próxima vez que volvamos por la zona

Splendide maison avec beaucoup de caractère et une magnifique décoration. Les chambres sont immenses. Sarah et Steven sont des hôtes très accueillants. Sarah est une excellente cuisinière. Tout est réuni dans ce lieu plein de charme pour passer un excellent séjour à deux pas du village de St Cirq Lapopie et de nombreux chemins de randonnée. Une adresse à partager avec ses amis.

A wonderful place to stay. Location is ideal as you can visit many pretty villages from there. Beautiful area to walk around too. The room is amazing, and the service awesome: the owners are very lovely, friendly and helpful. Plus sides: the breakfast is delicious, the pool is great, everything is done with taste and refinement. Strongly recommend and I’ll definitely go back there! Thank you!

Absolutely fabulous, stunning, gorgeous and any other description of loveliness. Le Mas de Garrigue is situated at the much, much quieter and more bucolic, less touristy end of the Lot river toward the Aveyron. And so much the better for it. It is owned and run by a very warm and friendly Irish couple who salvaged the place about 16 years ago. The photographs on the website really do the place justice - the house and buildings are the epitome of subtle good taste, with antique furnishings side by side with art pieces collected on their travels. The bedrooms are vast, the beds huge (and ridiculously comfortable) and the bathrooms a delight after a long trip, a hefty stroll or a muscle sapping cycle. There is also a delightful swimming pool for anyone with no intention of breaking into a sweat for even a millisecond of their stay. Dinner can be arranged for a supplement on Monday and Thursday evenings only, and reserved in advance. There are plenty of seriously good local bistros in the area in any case, so you won't go hungry. I've travelled fairly extensively around Europe, and it isn't particularly easy finding places like Le Mas de Garrigue that tick all the boxes for such a ludicrously reasonable rate per rooms of this quality, fit out, cool aesthetics and size (larger than most suites) - a chic retreat without the attitude, coffee table books or chill out music piped out day and night. All this and an absolutely brilliant breakfast.

We stayed here for three nights, originally having only booked two as we loved it so much that we ended up cancelling our next nights stay elsewhere. We wish we had longer! Sarah and Steve are amazing hosts, so friendly with lots of great knowledge and recommendations of the beautiful villages that surround the area. The villages are like you something you see in a picture book, some making you feel transported back in time. We loved our visit to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie which has a beautiful ruined Chateau high up on the hill. This area in the Pyrenees is by far our favourite having visited France many times, in many different locations. The private room on the lower floor of the property is beautifully decorated and leads directly to the pool. It was perfect not to disturb other guests as we are early birds. We had a delicious breakfast with fruit, natural yoghurt, baguette, jams and croissants served by the pool where we sat listening to the birds and the sounds of nature. The best start to the day! We regularly popped in the car a 10:15 min drive to the local village of Cajarc which has lots of little restaurants to sit, eat and people watch. Steve recommended a lovely drive through St Jean du laur, Promilhaves, Vidaillac, Puylagarde, Parisot and through Verfeil on the D33 to Albi. This was a lovely route with stunning old French villages. We would also recommend a visit we took as per their recommendation to Cordes-Sur-Ciel which is a fortified town built in 1222 and is truly stunning with streets full of locally produced foods and gifts. We loved our stay so much we are looking to return for another trip very soon! Can't recommend this place and area enough.

Nous avons été absolument bien accueillis par Sarah et Steve qui nous ont aidés pour le restaurant du soir (excellent) ainsi que des recommandations personnelles sur les meilleures randonnées dans la région.
La maison est magnifique et très joliment rénovée. L’endroit est charmant, très calme, la vue enchanteuse.
Le petit déjeuner est absolument délicieux. Sarah et Steve ont été aux petits soins avec nous. On se sent comme à la maison, mais dans une maison de rêves ;)
Nous recommandons vivement ce très bel bel endroit !

We selected Mas de Garrigue as a simple 1 night layover between our planned destinations for our annual trip through France. Before we left the next morning we were making plans for 2024 to return and spend more time here. The ~900 year old house is warm and inviting with an incredible amount of tenderness in the renovations and finishing details. In our lifetime of travels we cannot remember another place that matches the welcoming energy of the home. This is no accident as the home exudes the love and attention the hosts have provided in the decor which is the same as they treat their guests. They are genuinely kindly thoughtful people willing to help and share with the guests.

This is the most magical place. It made me smile and gaze around in wonder throughout my stay. Luxurious, comfortable, incredibly beautiful: I could single out the gorgeous, heavy linen curtains (all handmade by our host, Sarah), the huge, comfortable bed with beautiful soft Egyptian cotton sheets, the spacious bathroom, the ancient beams and stonework, the sunshine flooding the room, the far-reaching views.... the windows!! - ranging from large casements in the bedroom, admitting scented country air and birdsong, to quirky little tiny squares tucked away in the deep walls of the toilet and the shower!
Sarah and Steve were the best hosts, so welcoming, and full of helpful advice (we were on a house-hunting expedition). Before we arrived, Sarah kindly offered to book us a restaurant for our first night, which was a big help.
Breakfast was delicious, especially the chilled, freshly squeezed orange juice, natural yoghurt and homemade jams.
I will be recommending this stunning place to all my friends and family. I hope we can return before long. Thank you Sarah and Steve!

Un grand merci pour votre accueil au Mas de Garrigue, un lieu absolument exceptionnel où tout respire la sérénité et le bon goût. Votre demeure est superbe, les chambres sont immenses, décorées avec un soin remarquable, et chaque détail invite au confort et à la détente.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine, véritable havre de paix entouré de verdure et de champs parfumés qui chantent la campagne. La situation du Mas est idéale pour rayonner dans la région : en moins de 20 minutes, nous avons pu rejoindre Saint-Cirq-Lapopie et Bouziès pour une belle randonnée le long du chemin de halage. Cajarc, tout proche, propose aussi d’agréables restaurants en bord de Lot.
Nous avons profité pleinement de cette halte de trois nuits, reposante et ressourçante, et gardons précieusement ce séjour parmi nos meilleurs souvenirs.
