The owner of this campsite is a drunken abusive man. Last night I arrived at this campsite prepared to book in however we arrived too late and decided to park close and pay entry in the morning. After a long, unsuccessful search for public toilets I had only the option to use the campsites’. The owner followed me to the bathroom and waited outside so that he could confront me on exit. He was very aggressive and stank of alcohol. I told him I was very sorry and I understand what I had done wrong and offered even to pay the price of a night stay, however he refused and continued to yell, block the exit and followed me out of the campsite with his wife to see “where I was sleeping”. I am not defending the use of campsite facilities without payment however I had no choice and offered money and my apologies. This was a very scary experience as a young woman alone being followed and abused by this man and his wife. He soon backed off when confronted by my father. Do not recommend.
