This is THE STORE to shop whilst in Lourdes. Rather than store after store of “made in China” Lourdes items, this shop is owned, operated and stocked by local Lourdes artisan citizens. Andre Lacôme was a sculptor and his daughter Elizabeth runs the store- and the items in the store are beautiful, authentic and true handcraft. The items available are quality. Real quality. Andre sculpted statues for the city of Lourdes. Their store stocks medals, plaques, statues, jewelry - see the pictures. This is a location not to be missed. As you are walking toward Andre you will pass the Monastery of the cloistered Carmelites who have a gift shop and only take cash. The Andre Lacome store DOES take credit and they have beautiful items. I strongly recommend this store. It is amazing and you won’t be sorry.
