Atmosphère sympathique, repas excellent de l'entrée au dessert, cuisine originale. Serveurs aux petits soins .Cadre reposant. Nous reviendrons sûrement

Nous sommes venues manger à la taulada avec une très bonne amie et sincèrement tout était parfait....de l'entrée au dessert.
Le personnel est vraiment très agréable et chacun connaît son travail et nous avons été très bien conseillé.
Pour être une enfant du pays et avoir connu le "avant" on peut dire que c'est une réussite !!!

Très bonne expérience au restaurant La Taulada, nous avons très bien bien mangé, c'est raffiné et surtout super super bon! nous avons découvert des goûts, des saveurs de produits du terroir! un vrai plaisir, merci à l'équipe et au Chef !

went with two friends, one of whom had been recommended to try La Taulada by a friend who had been told that the friend enjoyed everything and quality was good. The quality was good for the entree and main course in my opinion. But none of us particularly liked any of our three different desserts. Two of us tried the menu decouverte at 45 euros - 3 courses with a choice of two dishes. The poulet noire sausage with chanterelles entree was fine, my pork noisettes were interesting, but we all felt the portion was on the small side. See the picture. My watermelon dessert was rather bland except for the accompanying sorbet, and I didn't like the texture. The sorbet was fine. My friend didn't like the rosemary and thyme added to her dessert. It didn't work for her. (So maybe 3.5 stars for food is a more accurate rating in my opinion). My other friend went a la carte. His steak was nicely cooked (au point) and the portion size was better. That came with a small salad and potato croquettes. But he didn't like his dessert either. La Taulada is clearly trying to be different and striving to be upmarket. Good luck, overall the experience here was good, though spoiled a little by a long delay getting the bill. But otherwise service was good enough. I thought it was as good as many other similar small town French restaurants, but I've had better and simpler food at lower prices. And the wine list only offered a limited choice of wines by the glass. The majority of wines were only available by the bottle, apart from a champagne. a choice of two different Cote du Rhone reds, or a glass of Cotes de Gascogne white. No house wine, carafe or half bottles. Wines start from around just over 20 euros a bottle. The view from the back of the dining room is pleasant, it overlooks the lake and there is a village church steeple (presumably at Larroque) visible in the background.
