Nous avons combiné ça ensuite avec le musée.
The XL tour takes 2 hours, and we have to spend half an hour watching video and some boring QAs. When we finally hop on the bus, it basically only took us around the factories, watching the planes parked outside and listen to the guide explaining everything. It also cannot drive onto the apron, so for example when we saw the Beluga, the passengers sitting in the rear of the bus can barely see the aircrafts. The only stop we have is the assembly plant for A350. But we are only allowed to observe it from a platform, quite distant to the planes and it’s separated by glasses, then watch another video.
I’ve been to Airbus Hamburg before, and it is much more interesting. There we were allowed to really walk through the plants and take a close look at the planes.
Even the gift shop is better in Hamburg. The gift shop here sell mostly franchises of Aeroscopia. For the franchises of Airbus, there are basically only plane models.
If you have little clue about the aircrafts and aviation, this tour might be inspiring and you can learn a lot. But if you’re a true aviation fan, I would suggest you to save the money.
