I booked a one-night stay at Radisson Blu for €200. On the day of arrival, I became seriously ill with a fever and contacted the hotel to request a simple date change to the following day. My wife and I had been travelling for over 6 hours, and she is also pregnant — it was a stressful situation, and we simply needed a bit of understanding.
Instead, the receptionist showed zero sympathy, wrongly insisted that I had booked through Expedia (which I did not), and made no effort at all to help. I wasn’t asking for a refund — just to shift the night to the next day.
For a hotel under the Radisson Blu name, this kind of cold, unhelpful attitude is unacceptable. No empathy, no flexibility, and no interest in basic customer care — even under circumstances involving illness and pregnancy.
Absolutely appalling experience.
