Nous sommes végétariens et avons eu du mal à trouver de la bonne nourriture végétarienne dans cette partie de la France. Bien qu'il n'y ait que deux plats principaux végétariens au menu, ils étaient tous deux fantastiques.
J'ai eu le mezze avec du houmous fait maison, de la tapenade d'olives et une trempette de betterave. Tous les trois étaient faits maison et tellement délicieux. Mon autre moitié avait le bol végétarien. Encore une fois, fait maison et délicieux. Le pain plat était également délicieux.
Le restaurant était occupé et d'après ce que nous pouvions voir, il n'y avait que deux personnes qui dirigeaient le restaurant : la serveuse et le cuisinier. La serveuse était vraiment gentille et faisait de son mieux, mais il y avait tout simplement trop de tables pour une personne et il y avait donc une très longue attente pour les boissons et la nourriture (plus d'une heure pour la nourriture).
Mais nous n'étions pas pressés, donc cela ne nous dérangeait pas et la nourriture valait vraiment la peine d'attendre.
La Saint-Gayane était de loin la meilleure nourriture végétarienne que nous ayons mangée au cours des cinq jours que nous avons passés dans cette région.

We had a really good meal here.
We are vegetarian and found it tricky to find good, vegetarian food in this part of France. Whilst there are only two vegetarian main course on the menu, they were both fantastic.
I had the mezze with home-made hummous, olive tapenade and beetroot dip. All three were home-made and so delicious. My other half had the vegetarian bowl. Again, home-made and delicious. The flat bread was also delicious.
The restaurant was busy and as far as we could see, there were only two people running the restaurant - the waitress and the cook. The waitress was really kind and was doing her best, but there were just too many tables for one person and so there was a very long wait for drinks and food (over one hour for the food).
But we weren't in a rush, so we didn't mind and the food was absolutely worth the wait.
Saint-Gayane was by far the best vegetarian food we had in the five days we spent in this area.
