We stayed at the 5 Terres and had dinner at La Table du 5. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a room with terrace and greeted with a bottle of wine -and treats for our dog-. We were treated extremely well by the staff. We also included breakfast, which is very complete and has a good quality overall. The spa is also very comfortable and doesn't feel crowded even at peak hours.
I would also recommend dining at La Table du 5. Menu may feel a bit too short in terms of options (perhaps completing appetizer section, with charcuterie or rillettes or some Alsatian specialties to share, would improve this point) and service was a bit slow that night (one of the waiters was a trainee, to be fair). But the experience was overall pleasant and the wine selection, with plenty of natural wine options, was amazing.
Would definitely stay again.

Petite terrasse sympathique, nous y avons été pour y boire un verre.
Serveur très poli mais malheureusement ambiance assez froide et service assez long ( il n'y avait que 3 tables à servir )

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem wunderschönen historischen Gebäude und überzeugt mit sehr freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal. Wir hatten die Junior Suite mit Klimaanlage – an einem heißen Sommertag ein großer Pluspunkt. So war die Übernachtung insgesamt sehr angenehm.
Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet: frisch, vielfältig und liebevoll angerichtet.
Etwas weniger begeistert waren wir vom Ort selbst – Barr wirkt etwas verschlafen und bietet kaum Abwechslung. Auch das Parken ist schwierig, daher unbedingt den Valet Service nutzen.
Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, wobei die Hotelklassifizierung unserer Meinung nach etwas zu hoch gegriffen ist. Atmosphäre, Service und Komfort stimmen, aber es fehlt an dem gewissen Etwas, das man bei der aktuellen Sternebewertung erwarten würde.

The building itself is nice but it takes a lot more to be a 5 star hotel.
If noise bothers you, better stay away.
