LOU P'TIT POUN

This is a remarkable campsite. On arrival at reception the paperwork is done efficiently and then you are guided to your pitch by a staff member on a golf buggy. The pitches are a good size and the camping area is beautifully landscaped and maintained.
There are loads of water points and electric points, and you can hire a pitch with private bathroom booked in advance if you wish.
There are plenty of nude pitches, and the atmosphere of a quiet family campsite, albeit with excellent facilities as well.
Everywhere on the site is immaculately maintained and impeccably clean,and the staff are very friendly and professional.
Our grandkids loved the pool,and we went to a very enjoyable paella evening with music,in the bar restaurant.
I have camped for 44 years now, and I don’t think we have ever stayed on a better planned or more efficiently run site.
I would unhesitatingly recommend this site to any camper of any generation, based on our experience.

Wir waren Mitte Juli für mehrere Tage hier und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Terrain ist sehr großzügig und parkähnlich angelegt und die Stellplätze erinnern in ihrer Grösse an Kanada.
Sehr gute und saubere sanitäre Infrastruktur, auch wenn die Klobrillen fehlen????
Pool und Café haben wir nicht genutzt; machen aber einen Guten Eindruck.
Der Bus #24 nach Bayonne hält quasi vor der Haustür.

Highly recommend this site and its staff members. Speak obviously good French but also exceptional english.
I was slightly nervous due to some previous negative but clearly undue reviews and being on such a good previous site however I had absolutely no need to be and the site exceeded all expectations.
I booked direct, no additional fees at all so ignore this review. One toilet block open only but if all the pitches were full this would be more than sufficient. It was immaculate and had hot water and washing machine facilities. Nothing more needed here.
Plenty of space, the pool area looked amazing. Bar / snack bar is a missed opportunity and an outdoor tv perhaps with sport wouldnt go amist?
I went with a grant comfort pitch which was massive for a french site. There was enough shade bit also the sun when you want it.
Staff really couldn't do enough. I enquired about arriving prior to the 3pm deadline, extending my stay and was given a couple of options for pitches. Nothing was too much trouble. You are shown to your pitch and the young lady always waves as she drives past and say hello. Clearly the site tries to gather those arriving / leaving at similar times together.
The site is within a short drive of biarritz and bayonne, both more than worth a visit. Saint-Sébastien also within an hour and well worth a visit.
Wifi was also free but not so fast, would personally charge for this and get faster speeds (people will hate this comment)
All in all i would highly recommend this site and would go back !
