Very nice and quiet hotel in city center. There no possibility to park at hotel, but local park garage is just 5 minutes walking distance.
Our room was very nice, clean and modern with big flat screen TV.
Service was topnotch.
This is not our first staying in French hotels and the reason why I always give 4 stars, is the breakfast. Very poor variety, no vegetables, no salat.
All in all it was very nice experience but please upgrade your breakfast.

Thank you very much for having taken the time to leave us such a detailed comment after your venue to our place.
We are delighted to see you had a good stay in overall and that you could enjoy the comfort of our place and its ideal location in the heart of the city of Metz.
We kept well noted your remarks concerning our breakfast however we don't totally agree with you. We don't have vegetables on our buffet but we try to offer you homemade or local products and deserts as much as possible. You can eat salty, sweet, cold, hot, etc. This is to us what a buffet should be, to prefer quality instead of too many choices.
We all hope your trip around France went well, you'll always be very welcome.

We've spent a weekend in October in Metz in the Mercure Grand Hotel Metz Centre.
+ location is perfect, in the middle of town
+ rooms are beautiful and spotless clean
+ overall elegant design
+ staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the late shift
+ excellent housekeeping
~ reception is also the hotel bar, which is a little odd when checking in.
~ no smoking
~ no parking on premises due to the pedestrian zone, they do give discount for an underground garage close by
- the breakfast. Although of excellent quality, the variety is very limited. But that is a general impression I have on French hotel breakfast.
Overall a great stay!

J ai été très bien accueilli, le personnel de cet établissement est vraiment Agréable serviable disponible …bref au top !!! pour la chambre surclassé un petit mot de bienvenue… bref j ai été touché. Au plaisir de revenir dans votre établissement.
