A Peaceful Haven with a Truly Exceptional Host

We stayed at La Chaise Haute after a long day walking the Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, and it was one of the most memorable stops on our journey. The house is full of charm, the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable—ideal for a restful night.

The peaceful garden was a true highlight—lush, and full of quiet corners to relax in. It was the perfect way to unwind after the walk.

The food was outstanding—fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Every meal felt like it was prepared with real care and love.

What truly made our stay special was the host. She is not only warm and welcoming, but clearly passionate about what she does. Her kindness, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of the region made us feel completely at home. She went out of her way to help with anything we needed, and her dedication truly shines through.

A beautiful, peaceful place with a host who puts her heart into everything—highly recommended!

La maison est absolument magnifique...tout ici est reposant, du jardin au salon, en passant par les chambres élégantes et impeccables...L accueil est extraordinaire. Tout est fait pour qu on se sente bien... un havre de paix... une vraie chance pour se ressourcer! Adresse exceptionnelle.

Hôte très sympathique, discrète: réservation motivée par la déco des chambres, surtout la verte: avons eu la jaune, aucune déception (malgré peut-être quelques finitions à revoir, mais ne gâche en rien le goût pour l'harmonie des objets et couleurs de cette chambre) - équipement complet - petit déjeuner parfait

Hôte adorable, très accueillante et à l'écoute. Le lieu est calme et reposant. Les chambres sont confortables, spacieuses et magnifiquement décorées. Le petit déjeuner est complet et copieux. Un endroit chaleureux où il fait bon vivre.
