SLOW VILLAGE BISCARROSSE LAC ^{* * *}

je suis restée à proximité de ce camping durant 18 jours. Le concept bobo écolo ne doit pas inclure le côté sonore. Vie nocturne sans respect pour le voisinage ou la faune. Musique jusqu'à 2 h du matin et la nuit se poursuit au bord du lac par des hurlements. Les fêtards apprécieront.

Lots of people save hard and wait all year for a special holiday with friends and family, so when it's a huge disappointment it has a very big impact, and is very hard to accept and forget. It was so painful for me to feel like I let down my family, it has taken over a year to write this review. I feel I need to let the management know how hard this was on us, and warn others.

We love France and normally camp every year, usually with Huttopia. We decided to treat ourselves and upgrade to a Slow Village Biscarrosse cabin - it wasn't cheap.

The location near the lake is wonderful, but our cabin overlooked a car park, with floodlighting, but far worse - the cabin was so tired and run down, I could have taken a 100 pictures of the issues. Rotting wood, filthy, damaged floors that cut feet, and just really worn out. We honestly felt like we had been deceived by the sales team and website.

I know it’s big business, and there is probably a director in Groupe VVF Villages saying more profit can be made if we spend less money maintaining… but this is a very special once a year occasion for people - someone in the business needs to remember that.

If the cabins are repaired, cleaned and those near the front screened from the car park, it would be well worth the money, as the site location, shop, staff, restaurant, and bar were lovely.
Maybe they have been refreshed now and hopefully the company can respond?

Magnifique environnement dans la forêt de pins a deux pas du lac.

Me ha encantado. Las cabañas son una monada y estan bien equipadas. El sitio es precioso y el lago esta al lado. Si vas en temporada alta, la zona del lago al lado del camping esta muy concurrida pero puedes buscar sitios tranquilos alejandote un poco. El servicio del camping es muy bueno y tienes un bar y restaurante muy agradable con musica en directo. El camping es muy tranquilo, y familiar con actividades variadas. Tienes pistas de tenis y padel. Nos han tratado muy bien. La Duna de Pilat esta muy cerca - es impresionante- y Biscarrosse Plage que esta muy cerca en coche es muy animado con mercadillos nocturnos. Tambien nos gustó La teste de Buch para tomar ostras a buen precio en sus restaurantes en el puerto. Solo sirven un menu de ostras, gambas y caracoles con vino blanco o rosado. El camping es un sitio ideal para ir con familia y amigos. Puedes alquilar bicicletas en el camping para hacer una ruta. Vacaciones con estilo francés !
