Nous sommes venus au mariage de notre nièce Sophie le 2ème WE de septembre. Nous avons vécu des moments de joie intense. Les repas et autres petits déjeuners, brunch étaient tous originaux et de bonne qualité. La famille propriétaire du gîte est adorable, des parents aux enfants

Pas de nourriture adaptée à un randonneur !

FR : Je me suis arrêté au gîte de la Fargassa une nuit pendant mon parcours de randonnée. J’ai adoré l’endroit qui est juste magnifique, j’ai très bien dormi et mangé, et le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. En lisant les commentaires d’autres randonneur·euses, je comprends qu’iels aient été déçu·es s’iels s’attendaient à un refuge comme un autre. Mais ce n’est pas le projet de la Fargassa et je ne partage pas leur sentiment parce que je ne m’attendais pas à retrouver l’expérience « refuge ». En ce qui me concerne, je regrette de ne pas avoir pu rester plus de temps car cela m’aurait permis de partager avec cette communauté bien plus qu’il n’était possible en une nuit.
EN : I stopped at the Fargassa for 1 night while hiking on the GR10. I loved that place! It’s magnificent, I slept and ate very well, and the prices where very honorable. Reading the reviews of other hikers, I can understand they might have been disappointed if they had expected a shelter like any other. But that’s not the Fargassa’s project and I don’t share their feelings because I wasn’t expecting a “shelter experience”. As for me, I just wish I could have stayed longer which would have allowed me to share more with that community than it was possible in a one-night-stay.

Accueil négligeable. Refus de donner de l'eau à des randonneurs. Ceci n'est pas un gîte d'étape ou même un refuge, seulement un gîte de luxe. Mauvaise mentalité. Détestable.
